Back in 2020, before quarantine, I saved someone from suicide. She became my first love and we were strong as a couple. But in November, she broke up with me because life was starting to get out of hand on her end and she told me I was straining her because I was having a hard time in college. We both cried on the day she said she was breaking up with me. A few weeks later, she found someone else and now she's happy. She went from seeing me as her hero and first love to seeing me as only her friend and nothing more. I've never had an emotional scar this big before. If anyone sees this, you can reply or you can like. It doesn't matter.
Edit: To everyone reading this, I appreciate all you have said, it's been three years now ever since I told you guys what happened...so here's the update. Still single, but I'm in a better place now, because I've been working on myself and I will continue to do that to be a better person. One day I will find someone who loves me for who I am, inside and out. But for now, I'll keep working on myself. Thank you again guys. To anyone else going through this situation, keep your heads up. This reminds me of when I lost my hamster, I grew so attached to it. When it died, I went into depression, spending much of my time hanging out at the grave I made it at the cherry tree my family planted, talking to it, sometimes bringing it food.

May 28th will be 3 years since my husband died. That was 3 days before his 51st birthday. He also died on one of my sisters'birthdays. I worked on him until the paramedics got there. One of my other sisters died 8 months later after battling colon cancer for 3 years. This song hits hard.

L1RG not necessarily, I’m extremely lonely and don’t have many friends. I had 2 friends while I was going through depression, one friend didn’t believe me and the other helped me through it, I realized that I only really had 1 friend and that was the one that had helped me. The one that didn’t believe me tells people that I’m lesbian, gay, that I try to kiss her etc. Though she knows I’m straight and I’ve had a crush on a guy for 3 almost 4 years, she also thinks I like her as a friend. (I don’t anymore)
I was for a while and after my dog passed and my bro told everyone I murdered him and then people came up to me and kept say " why did you murder your dog " it made me more sad then I was 😭
I feel it’s horrible to many people are depressed or using the word for an excuse I just hope to finds someone who cares

I lost my Dad on 1/19/22. The pain of never seeing or speaking to him again is heavy. Regrets of not spending or making enough time for him while he was here, and not knowing there wasn't going to be a tomorrow.
Take and make time for your loved ones. Life can turn on a dime at any moment. Hopefully this will connect with someone reading this, and save you from what I'm going through. Peace.
My Mom passed away on 1/19/20. The full impact of that loss never hit all at one time. Kind of odd, I know, but it came in spurts, and still does after two years. I don't think you ever get over it, you just learn to enjoy the good memories that pop into your mind and let them override the bad memories.

I know how that feels. My room is on the top floor and me and him always talked about us waiting till he could walk again (cancer took away a bunch of bone marrow from his legs) so he could see it for himself, next day he went non-responsive and lasted about a week after that before moving on. Don't take your loved ones for granted because there's going to be the one day where they won't be there.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. Stay in there and stay strong, I promise there is light at the end of a dark valley❤
