    It's not what you do in life that determines your earnings but it's whether you own your own business or work for someone else. That's what I like about this channel most of the people featured are successful business owners.

      What you say is true.
      But, there is nothing wrong with a man who only desires to drive. VS owning a truck or 10 trucks.
      Besides - where would the industry be if not for men like who are happy simply driving????
      Owning a business is not a “Key to everlasting happiness.”
      No you may have a nervous breakdown. 😂 lol.

It probably stood out to me more being as tho I jumped into that model after I was in a long hood Pete 379 where I could see my hood and see over the dash! But his is very nice though!

    bruh at 20 I did moving for 2 years. Wasted 1 year of insane pay on partying and then met my wife and used the other year to pay for trade school. Moving pays BANK it also WRECKS your body. 2 years was enough for me and it paid for my welding school and certs. But if I was gonna continue with it i would get my full license to drive the rigs. You just show up and wait and drive. I was driving 5 tons and 10 tons straight and also packing but damn 25 an hour for having a clean license and knowing how to drive was amazing at 20.

    You might not see this comment but your TH-cam came up after I was passing the CDL permit it took me five six tries to pass the permit with all the endorsements outside of a bus.. I appreciate that you're making content like there's some places maybe I don't agree with you. But I don't have my CDL license yet I'm not driving yet. Family is made up of truckers hoping the right opportunity after getting a CDL in February comes up... Not hoping for a lot for the first year or two I'm okay with working for $20 an hour or something real low like that... For 6 months or a year. That's about as long as I would suffer through that
    Edit: currently my options may be in Alaska, but through some videos I believe I could potentially run some phone/video interviews with some bigger companies down south.

    👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 i currently have 2 trucks and let me say that the money is good. I average about $1000 a day each truck 6 days a week. I cannot complain even tho I hate living in commiefornia. If you have a good account and they let you bring your own truck in, don’t think twice.

    Anyone ever worry the effect these videos have on the spot market? Or does it effect the market at all? I'm curious because I've been planning on buying a truck for quite some time and I'm wondering about the ability to keep making good money in the long run if we're saturating the market.
    P
    It's a fair question. Big fan of you Asian Mai, im genuinely curious what you or anyone with the know all can say about this. I know I'm not the only one curious.

      The spot market is cyclical and regional, I run flatbeds and I’m averaging 9k gross a week per truck! I also know the regions and I keep my trucks in high paying regions like Chicago and Indiana just to name a few! States west of I-35 for the most part pay amazing to go to but you’ll have trouble finding good loads out like Colorado, Utah and New Mexico! There’s plenty freight in the world to move to not have to worry about over saturation, things do tend to slow a bit in the winter but that’s normal, just like real estate prices freight rates will fluctuate! Hope this helps 🍻

      Asset King Tv im currently running local tanker. I'm thinking about buying a stepdeck with ramps to run south east regional. I'm hearing people having issues with blowouts from the smaller tires. Seems like step can haul about 80% of flat loads. Do you think the benefit of a step is worth the investment? Thank you

    • @assetkingtv6117
      @assetkingtv6117 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@haulingfuel4759 stepdecks are definitely worth the investment, they’re a little more specialized then flatbed, but can still haul most flatbed loads! You will definitely need ramps and levelers to maximize what you can do with a step! Blowouts happen a lot with steps mainly when the weight is heavy and not distributed evenly across all Axel’s, so when you go to make a turn especially if it’s spread axel the low profile step tires will give in certain situations! Hope this helps 🍻
