It’s about time we started focusing on developing other cities like Mombasa and Kisumu

@@sannyonyango3667I agree..not all cities will be like Nairobi. Some must invest in manufacturing, others tourism, others high end agriculture.... But the development must be powered by a financially sustainable driver

Mombasa is actually coming up really well, if they set up a free economic zone then it will do well for them.

Agreed, but the government officials in other cities such as the governors and mps should be the first people to open the doors for development by building roads, upgrading the markets etc. Because nobody in their right mind will be willing to invest in a place that's not showing any signs of development, and that's why so many investors choose Nairobi

I wish they would focus on certain towns in Kenya, such as Malindi, Thika, Kitengela, Nakuru, Kakamega, Nanyuki, Kwale, and Machakos, similar to the development we're seeing in Nairobi.

The moment u start involving the gvt that's where everything will start going wrong. The demon of corruption competing fr tenders to supply the utilities n resources fr the construction will come in leading to a mediocre project.Or have u ever seen any gvt supported project without it's overwhelming flaws?Start even with the gvt hospitals, mediocrity at its finest.Let private foreign developers like this ones come with their experience n innovativeness to upgrade our cities.Leave the gvt out of this, they are a poison chalice.
