Yup Yup...say it with a smile, Sophia. You are the first person I subscribed to years and years ago. I was in need of inspiration...badly. Being that TH-cam is drowning with "cleaning/organize" channels, I subbed to quite a few. Funny that after almost a month of watching religiously, I noticed something that set you apart from the others. You were REAL!!! lol Seriously...a few of the other women would get out of bed with some cute lounge wear set that costs 300 bucks and had not a wrinkle in it. Make-up was on fleek and they even had perfectly lined lips. I don't know about you, but I don't clean like that. So, very quickly, I unsubscribed to all of them except 2 and after a week, it was YOU and FlyLady. So so many years ago! I remember your get-ready-with-me videos as well as that first Christmas tour of your house. I remember you were going to declutter your makeup and pulled out a whole cart with draws and draws of lipsticks and nail polish...never mind those eye shadow palettes!!!! And it's a joy to watch you go through your life with designs of making your home a place that you can surround yourself with the things you love and make you smile. My favorite videos are these theme and, even though I don't have a garden, your gardening. I love when you make the old fashioned recipes, I made salisbury steak recipe and adore your mother, especially when you visit her in France. I know, sorry, Im long winded but just wanted to let you know you are wonderful and have helped me with many things in my world. Have a great day Sophia and Happy Mother's Day!

I totally agree about the content on TH-cam. These young girls with their big massive houses. What happened to starting off in small houses apartments and working hard and having dreams of bigger things. Everything now is just get it now if you don't have it now you're not good enough. It's a crazy world. I've said it before and I'll say it again you always amaze me. I wish I could do half the things that you do. Your content is real, you are real and it is very refreshing. I am a real person, living in a real house. I have dog hair galore, and I abhor dusting and vacuuming. I keep my kitchen and bath clean, but struggle being motivated to stay on top of the dog hair. I too clean in my favorite old tee shirts that have holes and bleach stains, oh well. I have nothing to prove to anyone, just don’t worry about it, just be you. You is always more than enough!

You out did yourself this time! How you can take something like cleaning the bathroom and make it into a feel good, funny video is beyond me! The part where you put in the breaking news with the ticker tape going across the bottom of the screen made me laugh for a good five minutes. I think it topped the time you were in your kitchen decluttering your cookbooks and you came across a book that tells you how to declutter. The look on your face was priceless! I am like you when I see those houses that all have the white, gray and black kitchens, with no personality and are clean to begin with. I can't watch them. I use my kitchen and my bathrooms and they show it. You are by far my favorite channel and I could watch you watch paint dry and be entertained!

I need to clean my ceiling fans (four of them two on vaulted ceilings) but I'm not in the mood to go get a ladder, cover my furniture, drag out the cleaning supplies, so I'm sitting on my butt watching you clean. LOL! I'm 74 (turning 75 in a matter of days) so getting motivated is getting harder every year. 🤣

You are so right about those fake homes staying tidy all the time, real people do cleaning on a whenever basis. The BREAKING NEWS was a riot. I have to work around caring for my husband & boy does he make messes.When he goes to dr next month we will have the talk about getting a hospital bed & maybe going into invalid hospice because so far I haven't found a place for caregivers that takes insurance. I love just the way you are------real life!!

I know people that bought a large new house and they're divorced now. They worked multiple jobs to afford it and hardly saw each other. We have a normal house and maintain it and try to add a little to the garden and flowers each year. Been here for over 30 years and no regrets. We are the norm. I love the idea of growing herbs in the front yard. I plant annual flowers each year but going to plant herbs this year between the perennials. Will be nice to have extra. I'll share too. I enjoy your channel because you are normal. Happy gardening.
There's an awesome book, The World's Best Class Plant, by Audrey Vernick, and it's about the spider plant. At the end of the year, the teacher gives each student a piece of the plant to take home. So cute!
It’s amazing how just a few changes can make a big difference. The front garden is really shaping up.
Use shampoos or body washes you don’t like to clean the toilet. Like Fly lady says “soap is soap”

An herb garden in front? I have a neighbor who has used the boulevard in front of her house as her garden. It is fun to see how your garden is developing.
Happy Mother’s Day Sophia, I just want to say maybe people forget that your channel started when your kids were very young. It’s a great challenge to keep a clean home with full time job and young children. But let’s face it when the kids are grown it’s a lot easier to maintain your home which frees up more time for things that we enjoy doing not just a mom and wife. I wish we could all freeze Sophia in time but she’s grown and we’ve grown and though I enjoy listening to her while she cleans I’m so ready to watch her challenge herself to be more than just a cleaning channel. ❤️

Sophia I love any video that you make! But…..you need to do an endorsement for the steam cleaner!!! It worked great.
The struggle is real! Why not take down the glass panel on the shower? It would make cleaning it so much easier. You could really transform the bathroom with peel and stick flooring and a new vanity. Maybe you would like it better until you can fully remodel? Habitat Restore usually has lots of vanities. Please don't feel like you have to apologize for being real. Thanks for the video.

Easy tip for the hard water stains in the bath. Toilet cleaner that dissolves limescale just leave for 30 minutes and rinse

One thing I was taught and always do is I always clean my bathroom right before I get into the shower. Those clothes go into the hamper. Makes sense as we are dealing with human waste and bodily fluids.. Alos I have a designated mop just for the bathroom and never mop the kitchen with the poo mop as we call it. Truthfully I just mop on my hands and knees with antibacterial. I don't dress up to clean the rest room I dress down.

I love your videos. I think you have an interesting life. I got laid off from my job over a year ago and I thought I'm going to get my house completely clean and organized. I'm still waiting for that to happen. I really like Lime-A-Way bathroom cleaner. I hate cleaning the shower but when I finally get in the mood, Lime-A-Way cuts the lime and soap build up really well.
The mints will get you in trouble. I promise. I put mine in large trays (ca. 20cm in diameter) and bury them just below the surface. They tend to spray above it but it’s manageable.
I really enjoyed the combination of the cleaning and gardening. I’m no green fingers, but I love (when weather permits here in Scotland!) to potter about in the garden. I’m 68 and have learnt to relax more when it comes to cleaning!

I had lots of mould on my tiles and around the seal. I soaked in bleach and used paper towels to cling to the side (coated in bleach). It lifted a lot of it. It’s very fummy but opened the windows and went out for the afternoon. Saved a job of removing the old grout and seal and re-doing
