I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else is searching for building a bird aviary plans try Tarbally Bird House Tactics ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.
Your video is the only one I found that is helpful for making the tower bird feeders. I was a little disappointed, however, that you didn't show us what needed to be done in order to hang it. I clicked the link provided by Steven Rapelje but, unfortunately, it's a Go Daddy window that comes up and asks "Is this your domain?", and also asks "Do you want to turn it into a website". So from all appearances, your website hasn't been set up yet. Can you please do another video showing the steps on how to make it a hanging bird feeder? Thank you very much.
The lid does sit alone when glazing. If you check here you can see a few different ways of hanging them. www.pottery-magic.com/pottery/clay_projects/pottery-birdhouses.htm
Donna, the top is not solidly connected. It is held on by running a hanging wire through a hole in the side and up through the top. This way you can remove the top to clean it out.

I loved this so much,Too cute! Can it be painted right after?
Stacy they do need to be bisque fired before glazing them.
Thanks for the video. I needed to see how the lid was made. Also, do you leave the lid loose or do you glaze it in place? How are you hanging it?

So the hole in the side should be up high, so that the bird or babies don't get tangled in it?
We do high fire,, first we fire to bisque,, then paint and higher fire again
How do you hang it?
