Sir what undergraduate course is required for this career? This really fascinates me and I am not sure which course to go for. I am sure it comes under Mechanical engineering but am not sure about the particular course to study. Please help Thank you.
@@princesakariya606 Depends how deep you want to get into the electronics/programming side of things or not. For being able to design/analyze the frame by hand mechanical engineering will cover everything, Take a statics class, a dynamics class and strength of materials to understand how loads can transfer and you'll be most of the way there. The rest is a bit of factor of safety and knowing how to design for cyclic loading. Looks like they just bolted/welded this all together figuring the structure will hold. Analyzing the frame in CAD software (solidworks, catia, fusion360 etc) will realistically tell you much more about the structure than you could figure out by hand in a reasonable amount of time and allow you to address high stress points. Hope some of this info helps!

Use a Pixhawk 2.1 flight controller. They are the only one that is fully redundant, (even the software, and processor are redundant). they have built-in vibration isolation, so no need to guess at that, and they can use 2 GPS modules, the "Here2" GPS with GNSS for the ultimate in reliability and accuracy, you can use the RTK differential GPS add-on, for centimeter accuracy in auto-land, and other functions. Pretty much all commercial UAV's (and in the future, manned air taxis) are using them. you can auto tune it on a clothesline, for proper dynamics, and then please test fly it with a dummy payload first... (only if you don't want to die)
Hi, I know this is a year old lol, but I'm thinking of making a camera rig using pixhawk or something similar, are there any good learning tools (youtube playlists, blogs, websites, etc.) that you would recommend? I've been using Betaflight for racing drones for a while now, but I kinda want more autonomous flight for something like this.

Fuck I love Peters Dad. He has an accent but its like he was taught english by someone with a country accent so the 2 blend and it's kinda funny. I mean no disrespect or anything of course.
Samuel Moore there's honestly little to no need for anything but the welding hood (preferably auto darkening). I've been a backyard welder and have a few minor burns, but the danger of welding occasionally without all of the OSHA approved gearbis minimal. Yes, if doing it for 8hours a day you want to be covered as prolonged exposure to mig/tig/stick welding increases ones chances of skin cancer.
@@ROTAXD I know. I have done it in short sleves a few times myself. I just found it funny how much of a contrast there was between him and the guy welding.

Tamara Thompson In the past I’ve had a bad experience with betaflight and cleanflight and I just recently finished a quick f450 build with a dji Naza lite. I am planning on building a mini model of the larger drone with a Naza V2 and then stepping up to an N3. I would use DJI just because the flight controller is the main brains behind the operation and if I am trusting my life with it I want to have trust in the system. So far my Naza lite has done great and DJI has some great flight controllers.
