That was Dimash's 2nd performance when he was a contestant on the Chinese show "Singer" in 2017. He was 22 or 23 years old back then. This show is what got people's attention and he really started gaining popularity in the US and around the world.
This was in the I Am Singer contest & the original singer of this, Vitas sued Dimash for using his song. Vitas only went higher once whereas Dimash went up 3 times so maybe Vitas was peed off about that eh? Another great reaction thanks guys.

Hey guys another great reaction. I agree he always surprises with something more in his voice or something different or new. I hope you’re able to continue with some of these performances from the Singer. One I think you would like is Daybreak. But if you could do the whole clip. It shows how he lost his voice, went to the doctor and his throat still hurt. Even with that, the performance he gave was magnificent. In an interview later, he said it felt like shards of glass in his throat. Simply amazing. And btw the song is hauntingly sad about a child that lost his parents. And Dimash conveyed the emotion beautifully. Just a recommendation 🙂 Thanks guys

Love your reactions. You don't need to do a reaction to it, but I would suggest that you watch the longer video of this same performance. Dimash's Dad was in the audience and he didn't know it until he was through singing. It is very touching the love you see between them. It brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it.
