If you watch the to the end you'll see his dad was flown over as a surprise..and when he spots his dad it's so sweet..he asks his dad twice if he sang ok...are you kidding me? So humble so sweet DIMASH ❤️
Unfortunately, the short videos from this site are always displayed earlier when you search for the title. I assume he caught the short video too. Very few reactors find the video with the background information. That's why it's always unfortunate to say, if only they had watched the video longer. They just don't have the video with the background at the start.
@@OnMyWay1968 hey Ruth :)..to be clear it was a 'for interests sake' comment as I'm not dissapointed by the reaction at all.. they always come across as fresh, enthusiastic and authentic so 'if only ' is not what I said because it's not an issue for me..but you are def correct in that some versions on TH-cam have been cut way too short but I have found some of them include him seeing and hugging his dad at least which even without the backstory are to a certain extent self-explanatory I think. Also for interests sake'..he later said in an interview he wouldn't have teased the audience as much if he knew his dad was there.

I understood that you weren't angry about the video, only the statement that he should have watched longer doesn't do anything if he only has the short video to view, which was the case with him.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan where children are cherished above everything.. He appeared in the States in the World's Best championships and was almost certain to win. He quit the show to avoid competing against 2 children.
You should check out the longer version where he is suprised by his father's unannounced presence in the audience.

Opera 2 was my 1st Dimash experience. As a result it is on the top of my favorites. Now I compare all artist to him. I do have 1 other artist that is sentimental to me. Dimash just grabbed me in a way that no other artist has in all my years.

Love your reactions. S.O.S. was his first big performance. This was number 2. I saw this one on TH-cam first, and because I'd never heard him, I thought the "Best Singer in the World" claim seemed overblown and conceited, so I watched S.O.S. instead. I'm glad I did. For me, that remains perhaps his most beautiful song because of the meaningful lyrics and beautiful melody. "Opera 2" is more a novelty song, but certainly fun, and after hearing both back to back, I was willing to concede him the title of BEST. That was almost 5 years ago, and I relish watching new people discover him.

Dimash's mother is a renowned Opera singer and his father is a traditional folk art singer that is also well known. Dimash brings their teachings into most of his songs.
He practices 2-3 hours every day and he goes to a pool 🏊♂️to help his breath control
Here are a few tips to help if you continue a Dimash journey. 🎤❤️
For starters I would create a Dimash playlist📝 so we remember what you already saw and what we need to continue to recommend to you.
Also try to play out some of the videos because you will see how he treats everyone and how humble and kind he is.
lastly after you stop a video and talk about it when you start it back up go back a second or two because Dimash does a lot of amazing things together and you don't want to miss a thing like Aerosmith said.
P.s Vitas is the composer of the song "Opera 2". The producer that got him on the show asked him to sing this song. After it aired Vitas got in touch with a lawyer who then forbade Dimash from singing that song. Dimash said he will never sing it again. Vitas tried to record a version close to Dimash but the project never started.
Celine Dion and Lara Fabian were overjoyed when they heard versions of their songs sung by Dimash. Each one reached out to him in kind. Another example of a woman's kindness in a wishful no compete world.
P.s.s If you watch him compete on "The Singer" 🧑🎤understand that he is competing against established stars in China🇨🇳 and the audience are the judges.🧑⚖️ A producer saw him sing and brought him in as a "wild card". 🃏He came in second 🥈but we all know it is a Chinese show. (Link following)

Quien veto a Dimash de volver a cantar su cancion ya que el gran Dimash en su cover elevo el tema original varios tonos arriba de la original.
@8:26, Oh yeah!! I think I was broken too!! I literally couldn't stop playing it over and over after the first time I saw it! Dimash is the reason why I have to shave my legs so very often!! Lololol 😂.. For real, I get the chills so much still to this day my hair grows ten times faster!! He's absolutely incredible!! But you're seeing it in order of how everyone got to see him from the start of the show the Singer in China, and after he did SOS, the ratings went up over 600 million overnight and from then on, he couldn't even walk around anymore!! So, you're definitely not alone! Tons of people also started learning how to speak Kazakh so they can understand what he says even!! He's THAT powerful!!!

This is a Vitas song, but Dimash took it higher and higher! Also this cheeky attitude is so fun! 😍😍😍
A little background on this song. "Opera 2" is actually a contest the began in Russia to see who can sing the highest. You'll see toward the end he asks the audience if he should go higher. I think he won.
Please go back and watch the extended version where Dimash's Dad flew all the way from Kazakhstan to be there and Dimash did not know he was there during this performance until after he finished. It shows all of that when he finally sees his dad it is very emotional and shows how humble Dimash really is.
