I go to sleep to Dimash's mellow songs almost every night. Seriously, nothing is more relaxing that his perfect smooth voice. Sometimes I don't make it through one song! This is why some of his softest songs are my favorites. And for sure if you are having a bad day, or feeling some type of way, Dimash is what you want to listen to. It seriously works, it's magic.

I agree with your comments but would add that I’ve had played Dimash when stuck in an MRI for an hour or more. It’s an experience that I dislike but the music of Dimash just relaxes me to the point that I fall asleep! He is a Legend in his own lifetime!
It really works for me. I also love his mellow songs and his breathy tones are my favorites (they affect me the most). I may be frustrated or angry when I start, but after listening him I feel the need to make peace and forgive everyone. It's just something in his voice and the way he sings...I feel so much love and care in it. It is indeed magic.

Ikanaide means “don’t go” this is what the friends and family of a very famous Chinese singer of Japanese descend said to her when the Chinese government deported her. She was accused of spying after WWII. She never returned to China. At first, they pleaded for her not to go, and the pleading changed into a cry. Dimash increased the voice to express that feeling. The writer of the song congratulated Dimash for such excellent performance.

Ikanaide is Japanese for Don’t Go. He’s also singing in Japanese which is very difficult to sound correctly. And there have been quite a few Japanese reactors talk about the naturalness of his pronounciation!

Usually ,I get so wrapped up in his acrobats during a song that I forget he can truly sing with extreme emotions. I think I have found a new favorite by Dimash.
He has good dynamics in all songs but not always any acrobatics. No need to. I find those songs with incredible emotions or subtle mastery even more impressive. I really love his mellow/emotional songs, he has a lot of them. Like Amanat and pretty much all his Kazakh songs especially Qairan Elim, Qaragym-ai, Akkyum (Kremlin 2018 and Nur-Sultan 2019 live ones are so emotional), Mama Papa, Kusni Korlan, Bir Bala; Chinese ones like Thousands of Miles a Common Dream, Moonlight Mother, Endless Love and 2 acoustic performances of Daybreak with a Spanish guitar in China concerts; English ones If I Ever Breathe Again, Couldn't Leave... And of course Marigolds in Ukraine. And yes, this Japanese Ikanaide is my new favorite too. :)
