- Its that time of year again where we harvest olives on our farm. This season things dont go according to plan but we will probably get a better crop next season!

É verdade senhor Ken este ano nao foi uma boa colheita de azeitonas o pior eu como portuguesa que sou só cozinho com azeite e nos supermercados encareceu mais de 50% naturalmente vou cozinhar com óleo de milho sempre é mais barato. Gostei de ver o Joaquim ele tem máquinas para tudo 😂😂.

I think you should have harvested two weeks earlier.
Fruit harvests are cyclical Ken, a poor one occurring every 5-6 years or so I am guessing.
Looks like you harvested too late, everyone else I’ve seen has a bumper harvest.
Perhaps, but almost everyone I've spoken to has said there's hardly any olives this year. In Spain and Italy too. We had a record breaking harvest last year so maybe the trees are resting a bit

Could you do a video or ask Joaquin or frenadez how to do olives for eating i have tried three seasons to brine and matinate Olives only to through them out as the have gone bad no matter the recipe i have failed cheers
We did try one year buy it also didn't work. I don't think we changed the water enough. Gina hates the taste of olives so dosent bother anymore. Most of our olives are for oil but we do have some larger eating ones too
@@OKportugal I wasn't wrapped in olives until I tasted home made marinated olives from scratch I was converted straight away completely different to bottled olives.

Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down.
