*Important Safety Note*
Safety is my number 1 priority and concern while operating Tesla's FSD Beta software and at no point have I, nor will I subject customers to unnecessary risk. I am in full control, take over regularly, and I am extremely vigilant and cautious at all times. Furthermore, I do not subject anyone to Self Driving features that are uncomfortable or request me not to use it.
-Tesla's FSD system is classified as a level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It is not fully autonomous and I remain in control at all times. There is nothing illegal or concerning about my operation of FSD on Rideshare Drives.
-I am legally protected to record inside my own personal vehicle while on the job and do attain consent for individuals fully featured in my videos. The rest are blurred out with identifiers censored or cut from the videos entirely.

Been meaning to ask how do you manage your battery range limits and customer journey distances during your working day? Do you keep a 'buffer' reserve in your battery? How low do you let your battery go before you visit the Supercharger or do you allow time between rides to top up?
@@davec2211 great questions! With the time I’ve had doing this I’ve gotten quite good at generally knowing how low I’ll be getting after a few trips on top of the car having the arrival % prediction as well. I know that worse case I can push about 50km per 20% and typically use 20% as my lower limit.
In other words once I finish a ride that’s going to leave me at or below about 20% or I’m sure that the rides I want would be over that, I’ll go and hit a charger before grabbing the next ride.
On rarer occasion with a longer trip from like Tampa to Miami or what used to be something like San Diego to LA or Temecula, there’s usually a stop or two with the customer and they’ve always been really understanding about it.
Okay, I'd kind of forgotten about the Tesla estimate / prediction on arrival - that is an added bonus that people don't realise is there in reality. Thanks for your reply - take care out there!

@@CYBRLFT one additional feature I know at least if you share battery with Lyft, they won’t send you on ride where you don’t have range to make drive.
Ive been super impressed with FSD in downpours and snowstorms at night on AI3 where visibility was so bad I'd pull over if FSD wasnt working 😅 I think the extra cameras must be helping. I just got my AI4 mewtwo, they haven't pushed V13 yet to me! 😵 But 12.5.4.2 did some impressive repositioning yesterday after this year's first snowfall, there was a weird patch of snow with tire lines a bit offset and the car moved over a second before to line up with the tire marks and then moved back to center, I wasn't expecting it, that never happened last year 😅 I'm rooting for your mewtwo fund

Re: VTOLs - the amount of wind they kick up will limit where they can take off and land. They basically won't be able to land next to any pedestrians, as they'll be kicking up wind, dirt and dust, rocks, muddy, standing water, etc. For longer distance from like rooftop landing pads or something, sure, but unless that building is where you want to go, you'll need to go done to the ground floor and get a ride to your actual destination.
Yuuup the logistics and practicality are going to be a challenge there.
Soo damn inefficient, Damn Loud. You be lucky to get 100 miles of range at 60 mph. I doubt that.
@@happycamperinc. That would absolutely have uses. Eg airport to downtown or something in 20min vs 2hrs in a car in stop-and-go traffic. I heard it can be done for about the same cost as a human-driven taxi, as you'd have to pay the cab driver for all that time. So if it can be done in 1/10th the time, it can actually make 10X as much money in an hour to cover the cost of operation.
But that would be a limited-use scenario. Probably

Im on 12.5.6.4. Just got .4 today. Hoping it fixes the repeatable failures in 12.5.6.3 I get making a "michigan left turn" after making a right turn at traffic light. It has trouble picking the proper left most lane in time and will skip it jump back in the left straight lane and go to the next turn a round and make the left. Havent tried this version yet. its been pretty good overall even in the rain though except for that.
I can never understand why so many women "hate" a man who they only know from the media propaganda. Smart women dont hate him. Emotionally fragile women do.
Very much agree on the last bit. Hope this update shows some steps forward for ya. No telling if HW3 will see an update before some hardware movement.
@@CYBRLFTTesla road map says HW3 will get v12.6 by end of year. All AI4 should also be pushed v13.2.1 by Christmas.

My only cases of red wheel on my HW3 2021 Model Y is where the sun is coming full sun directly in line of either front Cameras or Pillar cameras. There was also a case where a Truck with high beams at intersection on dark night.
@@techyjames1945 yeah! I had those cases like crazy on the last build but on this build I hadn’t and I’m always experiencing that brutal direct sun and plenty of highbeam losers real early in the morning.
@ that would indicate your build even though same number as the wide is definitely different than the build pushed out to the rest of fleet. Which we kind of knew due to the fact you have report icon versus us not having icon.
Need RainX, wipers hardly ever needed
While I agree but the Tesla goes crazy with its camera based rain sense. That sheeting of drops makes cameras think it’s raining hard and wipers are squeaking horribly cause window is dry.
I would love to see how FSD handles snow and blowing snow here in the Snowbelt of the Grt Lakes. Probably, though not certain, would be the same as your heavy rain in Florida. Anyway, just a thought.
As for Elon, here in Canada, there is a lot of conspiracy theory and misinformation, notably with my extended family. I just brush it off, and they know where I stand politically...

@@alekar2034 same level of rigor. But longer trips into more distant regions. My average length of customer trip recently has jumped quite a bit.
Actually thank you for saying something. This gives me some ideas as to differentiating circumstances like average trip length or segmented data per trip length.
Also! Given these longer trips I am on the highway more often than other trips in Florida and that is still the not so great v11 code that definitely struggles out here.

But you can't say the stock is cheap based on the share value, you need at least the market cap.
@@AmphibianDev I suppose that’s true when considering it in context to different factors. But in a literal sense here I’m defining cheap as something low enough in cost to a consumer or share holder as to not impact them significantly when making a purchase.
It is just a fact that when weighed against one’s income or total capital that $5 is cheap. Now $5 in gas… not cheap contextually and when factoring in the need for many gallons, but that is not the case for a stock, especially IF the value has the potential to do anything like what Tesla did lol.
For me getting into a $5 stock is cheap in that I can buy many many shares without it hurting me. That is not the case for something like Tesla. Hope that makes sense.
@@CYBRLFT The fact that a share is 'cheap' (a low $ value) doesn't mean anything. For example, Tesla did some stock splits in the past. Let's say Tesla makes another stock split that is 400:1 - meaning each 1 share will be split into 400 shares, and now the value of one stock is $1 from, let's say, $400.
The fact that TSLA is now $1 and not $400 doesn't change anything because the share count increased by 400x. And the market cap is exactly the same: Share-Price × Share-Count = Market-Cap.
If I have $1000 of TSLA it's still $1000, doesn't matter if I have 1000 shares or 2.5 shares (which is possible for many brokers to have a fraction of a share also).
It's like saying Apple stock is cheaper than Tesla stock because Apple is $254 and Tesla $420. When in fact Apple is much bigger, with $3.85T in market cap and Tesla $1.32T. If Tesla were to be the same size as Apple, it would have a share price of ~$1200, assuming no stock split will occur until then.

$5 dollars is cheap in the sense that it’s easily affordable to purchase. That’s objectively the case in the context I’m using. Your statement is also true.

@@CYBRLFT That's true, if you don't consider the fact that now almost any broker has fractional shares. You can buy only $5 of any stock you like without the need of one share to be $5. But I understand you, the psychology is indeed very different, even I don't like buying fractional shares, it just doesn't feel the same as when you have a full share.
And one more thing, I wasn't right when I said that nothing changes when the share price is lower, even letting the psychology aside, the options (put/call contracts) are a lot cheaper (entry price is lowered, here there are no "fractional options") because they work on a fixed number of shares: 100. In fact, I was really happy with the Tesla stock split with this exact reason in mind.
@ that’s a good point and I can agree to the lack of psychological appeal in buying fractional vs full for sure. If I had the excess capital to spare I’d be willing to do that for something like Tesla but for my personal situation I’m all tied up in more immediate goals like acquiring that new Model 3.
That being said I’ve thrown a little bit of money at DOGE with the sole mindset of capitalizing on perceived hype given the political space more so as a troll or perhaps more of an experiment in psychology lol.
I just threw about $50 at it over the last couple weeks to see what happens 🤣

As long as my hat isn’t blocking the internal camera I don’t have nag. I have the same active monitoring as others. It’s pretty nice most of the time.

@@CYBRLFT I suspect they may not yet even designed a replacement for H3, it's a different smaller computer space. Longer it takes the better the upgrade will be, small consolation.

One cannot just blame the media and say they do “hyperbolic” reporting and that is the reason for so much of negative opinion about Elon. The fact that he has had so many relationships and fathered so many children is not someone’s made up story! Females do not like that and to justify that by saying other men should also produce more children is an insult to women.
And now his wholehearted tilt to MAGA, which is full of sexual predators is seen by women with disgust.
As for me, I struggle with justifying that behaviour of Elon too, so like a true male, I just compartmentalise that and look only at his technological prowess. But these days his support for right wing radicals around the world is getting into slippery ground. No one who claims to be a “specist” should be supporting anyone who promotes anti humanity ideas !

First off, if you don’t wish to have this conversation in depth here, I understand or if you’d like to keep it out of this space, I encourage you to check out @KMDiscourse where we get into these things on the podcast.
That said, you’d notice I said to be careful of the media driven narrative and hyperbolic nature around coverage of Elon. That’s why I recommended the biographies to her. Most folks in general have an incomplete view or knowledge of Elon and it’s evident in the way many talk about him.
I’ve never claimed he’s a perfect person and no one should, hell no one is, but there is very much an emotionally driven narrative that aims to paint him as an enemy of “good people” which is bluntly put erroneous and illogical.
I’d love some links to these examples of his extreme right wing and anti-humanity ideals. I also don’t think I understand why one would equate his fathering of many children to a generalized disapproval from women as well. I’d like to see data or examples as to why.
@@CYBRLFT I have no issues discussing this here - but then this is your platform and therefore you get to set the rules. However any discussion of Tesla or SpaceX cannot be divorced from Elon because they exist only because of him! And since he has, so publicly and overtly, turned his attention to politics and social engineering, there is no way one can detach his companies from his public persona!
Now I will admit / full disclosure; I have been following the progress of SpaceX (almost watching daily the progress at Boca Chica for the last 5 years, since Star Hopper’s first flight in 2019!), and now the progress of Giga Texas too, mesmerised by the what they are doing there. Till Elon bought Twitter, it was easy to ignore his personal flaws / behaviours since what was in the public domain was only the brilliance of the execution of his technological innovations. He was an unbelievable mix of Leonardo da Vinci and Henry Ford and Howard Hughes ! He was the first visionary futurologist who was also an engineer who had the ability to make his dreams come true! And what motivated him was so much bigger than money and power and fame; he wanted to change the very evolutionary future of the whole human species! He was, almost single handedly, pulling humanity (kicking and screaming) into the future that he sees for us! He saw that we were transitioning, with AI and automation, into the Age of Abundance! He prophesied the end of hunger and poverty and not just a Universal Basic Income but a guaranteed High Income for everyone! I still believe he was not flippant or kidding. From what one has seen him do, I believe he will make it come true.
Now that kind of mindset presupposes empathy, compassion and a softheartedness that is very woke! Then after he got into social engineering, he went anti woke! That totally flipped me! But I told myself, I am not as smart as he is! I have to give him the benefit of doubt! Did everyone not call him crazy 20 years ago when he said we can colonise Mars! Why even Neil Armstrong thought so and made him cry! The CEO of Volkswagen thought he was crazy when he said he will make a car company that will drive all legacy automakers bankrupt!
So why should this be different! Supporting Drumpf and getting him into the White House has to be a step in some master plan! People think he is crazy, but he is trying to change the very destiny of humankind! That has always been his goal !
Therefore, though I too have gotten to be sceptical of his moves, I am yet willing to withhold judgment (my wife too gets very upset and angry if I mention even his name!). In fact I rather believe the conspiracy theory that he will pull the rug from under Drumpf within a year, if not 6 months, get his and his buddy Peter Thiel’s puppet, JD to be the front and take over control of the country! Nothing else makes sense! Elon’s vision is too big to run around behind Drumpf! 🤷♂
