Survived suicide attempts while a few good friends didn't. I am sober after decades of drowning. But you know Mom, it wasn't until my sobriety that I realized that the whole time I was drowning myself I dishonored the young man you raised for 17 years. I am no longer imprisoned by those thoughts, they were just hard-earned lessons not my death sentence. 49 now, and I have prayed for my salvation out loud and do so everyday and breathe it. Anyway, I miss you, thanks for being that beacon that will forever guide me until the Alpha and Omega calls me home. Your loving son. P.S.
