Man, the folds in that banded gneiss are amazing! I can't fathom how much force was involved to create those features.

Me too!!! And to think that the rock is soo ductile that it just creates waves and not brakes!!! It’s amazing!!!

Hello Elley, George here. I was in Bonaire once and there, the lizards are all over the place. hundreds of little ones and dozens of big ones. My sister had a funny idea, and me, being her little brother, even as adults, she said, lay on the ground like you are dead and lets see if the lizards come to eat you. I lay there for about ten minutes and they figured I was the biggest meal of their lives and a multitude of lizards came out of everywhere and started climbing on me and tasting me anywhere my skin was showing! I have to say, it freaked me out. My sister took some pictures and I got the hell off of the dinner table to all those lizards. : )

Hi Elley. I am learning a lot from your videos. Keep up the good work. Can you tell me why you have the background music. I find it is sometimes hard to concentrate on the words for the background noise.

Amazing metamorphic features. Thanks for educating us on the geology. Very interesting. I'm assuming you weren't out there this past week ? LOL ! Most of my claims consist of these rocks. Looking forward to the next video.

I went out there in the middle of June, it was hot, and I will speak about that in my next video, it was 90° at stove pipe. And when we get up to Cerro Gordo, it goes down to 53°
. It usually just takes me a while to get around to making any of my videos. :)

June is definitely warm out there. Heard the temp was 129F the other day ! Know what mean. Our busy schedules makes it hard to edit and post. I finally posted a video of Bisbee last week, but filmed in April. Lol !!

An amazing fact few people know is that both the lowest and the highest points of the lower 48 States are less than 100 miles apart... that's it! From badwater in Death Valley to Mount Whitney... literally less than 100 miles (as the crow flies). That's a change of over 15,000 feet in about 85-90 miles. Nuts!
