Honestly, I never understood religious peoples logic with that, I come from a Catholic home and I’m not like super religious or anything (I’m agnostic tbh), but I feel like I have a good understanding that Ghost is just band that makes music…and that’s all it is, music. Thats like someone saying listening to serial killer documentaries will turn you into a serial killer. Which is jumping to conclusions. At the end of the day the person decides whether or not they give something the power to influence them or not, and they decide if they want to take it seriously.

Pleasantly surprised by Twin Temple. I was expecting some sort of amateurish screamo band and got the opposite. lol. I noticed one of the stage security kept turning around to check out the show instead of doing his job like the rest. I wasn't far from him and the look on his face ranged from "da fuq?" to a silent approval and nod. 🤘🤘👻👹
I saw you included the concert death, I was actually at the show in Milwaukee when it happened. It was so sad but it’s so nice to see how they care about their audience when they had the memorial concert
I got to go to the memorial show and my god was it a good tribute/memorial, fantastic show, the family was right next to the stage, I think everyone cried just a little. Entirely beautiful
It was one of the most amazing things I've ever heard a band do for their fans!! It's a testament ((no pun intended🙃)) to them AND their fan base!! I've seen crowds turn into a vicious mob, for way less than stopping a concert, mid-concert!! 😳

I've only been a fan since 2019, and this is genuinely super helpful on learning all the lore of the band. I've never been too into bands with stories/actual characters behind them other than Gorillaz, but I love Ghost with all my heart.

My theory on Cowbell Ghoul is another pop-culture reference to the SNL skit “more cowbell” when playing “Don’t Fear the Reaper” by “Blue Oyster Cult”. See similarities with obvious things like the names involving *The Reaper* and *Cult* but most importantly the excessive over use of it where pretty much all focus is put on one person to get as much cowbell action as possible, even if it is distracting. Along with this, both songs are played in time signature 4/4 and very similar BPM; Don’t Fear the Reaper being 140 Allegro, and Ritual being 132 Allegro. There are a lot of videos playing the two songs side by side. If it isn’t a reference to the SNL skit, it’s definitely related to the song at least. I mean, it’s so similar.
