He's feeling the song because of all the struggles he's gone through his life such as surviving cancer, understanding his recent diagnosis of diabetes, depression and bipolar disorders and surviving a couple attempts of ending his life. The song the warrior is a child hits home to him.

Gary had Juvenile Diabetes and was told by his doctor that he wont live past his 30s. He is now in his mid 50s. Last year he also survived an open heart surgery and cancer in one blow. He is now cancer free.
A good cry is healthy, sometimes we need it. That's where healing starts, being honest of who you are and what you've been through. We don't have to get mad about our disappointments, it only means we are being prepared for something really good. Way better than we ever hope for. 🙌🙌🙌😭😭🥰

I still remember how A Warrior is A Child played before the end of our Annual Youth Seminar done in my University. I cried a lot. Our seminar starts with laughter and end with tears. It made us realize how to value our parents and the opportunity to have a good education provided by our parents. It’s like after done, I can’t help myself to go home and tell my parents how I love them very much to the point that my parents is asking if something wrong happened to me or I’m just crazy haha. I truly love the song 😊❤️
