I wonder what this man could accomplish with state of the art tools and machinery like laser cutters and cnc machines and water jet cutters and so on, building these beautiful creations with almost primitive tools and mostly just elbow grease and his genius. baby songbirds are so adorable. I've nursed and raised several who fledged too early and got in a tangle with local predators. If they survive the first couple of days (most don't, high stress, or got handled by a cat and got an infection, too cold, etc) they almost always recover and fledge normally after a week or so of human care.
I admire the dedication it would take to do this. I couldn't do it. I'd have heated the whole thing and poured molten brass on it and hoped for the best after grinding. Either that would work, or I'd just give up.

@@narusawa74 I know your comment is just for fun and you shouldn't take me too seriously berserk is my all time favourite manga and I love this channel, but I love being "that guy", he is still technically not a "Smith", yes he works with metal, yes he makes ridiculously heavy and impractical weapons, but they aren't actually "forged" by him, they are welded together and carved out of sheets of pre-forged steel. Even if I was to concede and we said that Michael was a blacksmith, in berserk godo doesn't regularly make weapons like the Dragonslayer, in fact that is the only ridiculously huge weapon he has made, most of the time he forges regular weapons that normal people can use and he even says he just keeps it around as a reminder to not make stupid swords again.
