The corpse in the background gives this soothing and contemplative sound such an eerie and unsettling tone. It's almost like some sort of visual/sonic hybrid dissonance. I don't really know how to articulate it, but I love it.
It's was a small unintentional detail, but it definitely has something. ^^
One of my long standing comforts in life since I was young is to immerse myself in thoughts of Silent Hill
I call it a 'comfortable nightmare'
It can be in some ways frightening, but it's a welcoming fear like finding comfort in something that appears disquieting but also brings a strange kind of comfort

That's a great way to describe the feeling
Some of the layers of SH give off just that, a soothing sort of solitude melancholy, and I love it. SH is still scary and frightening for me, but these moments in the games are the ones I live for. Sometimes when I play SH 1, I take my time to wander around the town, looking for items and new places I may have missed somehow. It's dangerous and scary but at the same time provides a sort of twisted comfort.
This channel has been my life soundtrack for the past 6 months. I’ve been really into ambient since about 2017 and never really understood how incredible the genre was until I’ve been listening to this newer younger Gen of musicians take the genre so seriously. I make music myself and I almost thought the genre was simple as hell, just start a drone add some sound effects and slow the bpm down to like 30… but there’s something to a martin sting Anderson compared to a Brian eno that totally distinguishes them as respective artists within the confines of their own lane. And this channel as whole compared with several others I’ve enjoyed on here is one of those standouts. Please keep up the great work ❤ ✝️🎵

@@lilcrazyart8306 app? I don't use apps xD Oldschool hardware synthesizers and sample cds from the 90s and early 2000s. And a regular DAW (FL Studio) to record / arrange everything. ^^
