Hi Paul great video. My wife and I meet Joe and his wife in Cebu at BI this past January, 13A stuff. Very nice couple in fact my wife and her communicate on a regular basis. Thanks again for the video, oh what is the name of their YT channel.
My Filipina wife applied for US citizenship after being married to me for three years, did they change things where his wife could not apply? My wife later went to a Philippine embassy later, and applied to be a dual citizen so she can own property in the Philippines.
I went through quite the insane run-around with St. Lukes Clinic about the difference between active TB and latent TB regarding both my wife and my stepson. The resolution was that neither of them had active TB, only latent TB (which I believe 90% of the Philippines has), but it took them 18 months of back-and-forth and lots of x-rays and repeated exam fees in order for them to ascertain this. I still get angry thinking about it. I had two instances of misdiagnosis (both of these were critical issues) while living in the Philippines myself previous to the visa health exam debacle at St. Luke's for my wife and stepson, and believe me, I am now pretty leery of Philippines healthcare.
YES your correct St. Lukes clinic and most hospitals and clinics here in the Philippines are very bad at making mistakes which can cause big problems and even kill you.......I have lived here in the Philippines over 33 years now and wonder why I am still alive from all the bad medical care here. I was told back during the crazy COVID time that I had COVID and I knew I had Pneumonia so the hosp sent me downstairs for XRAY and guess what it was broke. I went to two other hospitals and got the XRAY, and went back to the doctor and when she looked at it she was surprised and said Sir You were right. Like I told before Filipinos who wanted foreigners were from Mindanao Island and a few in the Visayas Island. Why because Mindanao, the undeveloped island has the poorest provinces. Many people didn't have enough education and access to jobs cuz lacked of investment from businesses local and international.
Solid plan. Work in the states, extended vacations to check things out. Rinse, wash, repeat until the time is right. Frankly this is what everyone should do, IF, the work schedule permits.
Absolutely enjoy the channel and what a lovely couple, great interview Paul. Vicky and I are still waiting on her K-1 visa approval and we too went through Philippine Visa. Thank for sharing and blessings to you and Mae.
The Title was very misleading! I thought the relationship failed after 99 days, but its going on for 10 years!! If he is from Missouri, and so an I, we tend to talk alot. Luckily, I've been around Filipinas enough to be less talkative, as they don't like a talkative man. Him going the extra mile to attempt and attract this young woman, shows either desperation or a " Go Getter" type of man. Anyway, he pitched his game and won her heart over. I'm happy for them, and hope that they have 20 - 30 more years to come together. If I move to Dumeguete Paul, can you help me become a U - Tuber or Vlogger? It won't be called Dumeguete anymore. The city will be called Vlogger City or Vlogstock, a cousin to Woodstock!😊
Pro tip: After asking a question of your guest, stop talking! Let them answer your question!!!!! Your enthusiasm is wonderful, but man, if you interrupted me like this I’d just get up and leave. Best of luck to this nice couple.
The house story sounds like a good idea. It would be interesting to see what they came up with and how it is going. I wonder how he gets mahogany as it is a controlled item now because it's getting overlogged.
Wow that's an interesting story. My fiance also failed the X ray test in 2016. But he was told that they needed to confirm the X ray test with a sputum culture . That test took about 8 weeks and of course it came back negative. He got his Visa about a month after that. Maybe the rules at St. Lukes have changed.
Paul, just checked out Filipino Visa link it doesn't help Australians is there one that does thanks. Great couple and your right, she was a great catch what a genuine sweet heart. cheers.
LOL, I first thought the title was Unexpected Heart Attack! And I thought to myself what was unexpected about that! LOL! Now I see what the real title is LOL
My wife and I did the K1 as well. False positive for TB was my biggest worry in the process from looking at the data of the percentage they fail. Way higher than actually have TB. Not sure why. I have my speculation. Fortunately my fiancé passed. This couple’s perseverance is admirable.
It's the way they vaccinate. It's the same in Eastern Europe and I think, even France. They don't have active TB and it's unlikely to become active in the USA.
So nice! Congratulations to both of you. As a foreigner married to a Filipina I know how complicated it can get, however we married in my country embassy with no problem at all and shortly after she could come to Europa with the right to live and work. As for now she is working and happy and making more money than me. I would do it again if needed. As this great man did, I did too. I looked for a lady working, with good manners and a decent family. Cheers 🍻
What a lovely couple. Its a tough life for many Asian families. Amazing that she could live off 25 dollars a month. The western World should be ashamed of itself what people think they need in life. I always learn a lot travelling to Asia.
Hi Paul first time writing yes that could have happen to me but im very paper savvy knowing that TB is wide spread took my gf to a respirator/ pulmonary doctor had her x rayed an the typical white shadow was there most likely a passive case but i did had the doctor write and rx filled it now i had proof if they stop this forward moving process and it did since the treatment was complete
I’m sure you’re right I just didn’t want people to think I totally gave up on America that is still my country but now I feel like Philippines is my country. Also is why I said I would fight for either when it comes down to it. I love America, but I hate the government.
... Also.... she seems likes seen a lot but is so emotionally good hearted. I feel like I see the pain and the love and the happiness and the short but long hard life in her eyes and her smile and the way she carries herself. I think he is very lucky. She seems to be very lucky with him also. He seems like a very good guy. Both seem very humble. I wish the best future for both of them. ☮🕊☮🙏🛐💟💞
Paul, for once I totally disagree with you. We did paperwork ourselves, for K1 visa. The medical issue she (and my wife went through) is bogus, but the visa company could not get around that issue. We did paperwork ourselves for no money.... I would say for anyone to explore doing it yourself.
Hey it’s me. The paper work visa is not hard we did ourselves most of it. My husband said terrible because he don’t like when my medical exam failed. You know why not make it easy and get it done but they make it harder. Instead of no problem they dig it more and earn more . Imagine we have to pay twice in st.Luke. Because it’s twice medical. My green card process we did it by ourselves and that was easy. Just follow instructions
Dear Paul. I understand you and the US ambassador or consul are in touch and he counts on you to refer US cases to him. Is it possible you can ask for more transparency in the fiance visa process

Like I told before Filipinos who wanted foreigners were from Mindanao Island and a few in the Visayas Island. Why because Mindanao, the undeveloped island has the poorest provinces. Many people didn't have enough education and access to jobs cuz lacked of investment from businesses local and international.
Hi @ChingZu Thanks for sharing your perspective! We appreciate your insight on this topic.
Hi Paul can I ask you to please send me the link to the previous video of this couple? I can't seem to find it in the description box
Thank you Paul!

@@paulinthephilippinesolddog9234 Thank you so much! 😁😁😁
Does Joe have a youtube channel? I watched this video but had two interruptions with puppies' issues.
he will have one up soon
Hi @troymoses8405 Thanks for your support and best of luck with Vicky's K-1 visa!
Wow, God bless them. Their story is of the trials and struggles of making love and dreams come true. 🤙👍
Hi @kimojames808 Thank you! We're grateful for the support.
Great video
Hi @jpsmusicandmore5457 Thanks!
Another great story, Paul!
Hi @homebasebelgium359 Thanks!
She never had tuberculosis. Crazy Philippines
Pro tip: After asking a question of your guest, stop talking! Let them answer your question!!!!! Your enthusiasm is wonderful, but man, if you interrupted me like this I’d just get up and leave. Best of luck to this nice couple.
Nice 👍 interview
Thank you
he seems like a good man ..and she is lovely and clearly a woman who navigated from her simple life to a more fulfilling life of love and success.
Hi @MrDoobie834 Thanks for understanding! We feel blessed to have found each other here too.
The house story sounds like a good idea. It would be interesting to see what they came up with and how it is going. I wonder how he gets mahogany as it is a controlled item now because it's getting overlogged.
Hi @Friedbrain11 Thanks for your interest! We're actually working on the house project, will share an update soon!
Hi @VAMJJ Thanks for sharing your similar experience! We've heard of variations in testing processes too.
These girls are happy to work 5 hours 6 days a week for $300 It is a major upgrade
Hi @mrbHanoi That's true, some of our friends here appreciate the stability and decent pay.
Don’t they prove you really don’t need a dating site to make a connection…make the connection while you’re on the ground!
I agree . You don’t have to. Much Better if you know in person.
LOL! Now I see what the real title is LOL
where can i find there channel
What’s the name of their channel Paul?
I will be announcing it soon, he is not quite ready
@@paulinthephilippinesolddog9234 very good sir!
I must have missed the part about the 90-day mishap unless you are talking about the TB problem.
Hi @scottsweetland457 Thanks for sharing your experience, we went through a similar journey!
another great show!
Thanks again!
A lovely couple that I enjoyed having dinner with in Iloilo. Y'all should come back for those good ribs Paul!
We will!
Joe, what State are you from? I would like to discuss/discover the logistics of 6 month's in the US and 6 months in the Philippines.
Cheers 🍻
Thank you!! 😊
Seems like a wonderful couple.
Positive TB result is common in the Philippines, before Xray in the future, for this purpose, drink milk and it will show clear.
Wow she does not look 34 crazy
Hi @NeptuneKnives Thanks for watching!
Joe is confused about the difference between "expatriate" and "ex-patriot"
Hi @kentfonda8245 Appreciate your input and personal experience with K1 visa! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video.. Thanks...
You're welcome!
So nice of you
So nice of you
Great story ❤️🌹👍👋
Hi @FlipandTheBlueMule Thanks for watching!
Nice couple. Bless them.
Dear Paul. I understand you and the US ambassador or consul are in touch and he counts on you to refer US cases to him. Is it possible you can ask for more transparency in the fiance visa process
Hi @DiegoItzep2012 Thank you for your trust, we'll keep advocating for change!
This one put a smile on my face. What a beautiful couple, with a beautiful story…
Maybe I missed it, but is their house building on TH-cam as well? I love those type of videos, because that is part of my long term plan as well…
Another great video Paul
Yes, there is video please wait about two weeks. I am letting Paul take charge. He is the master storyteller like Louis l’Amour you’ll get to see everything.
Hi @karlenzmann1917 We're working on a new series about our home construction. Stay tuned!
