Man, can’t wait for my supplies to arrive, been following you and finally ordered some brushes & paints to get started! I lettered a few cars 40+ years ago without knowing what I was doing, info was limited back then and I never pursued because I got discouraged… I really enjoy your videos, you’re a great teacher and because of you, I’ll get back into it! Cheers 😎
@patofdubois1 that is the coolest thing to hear. Thank you. The first sign painting thing I did was about 30 years ago, and I had absolutely no clue sign painting even existed. It is easy to get discouraged though, even now. It is a big goal of this channel to encourage folks and show that things are possible. Never stop learning.
Please keep these coming, they are a huge help! I’ll have to get started on a monochromatic design, it may take a bit but I’ll send something your way. Thanks again!
Always good to see your informative videos. I’ve been an artist since I was ten years old and a professional painter since my early twenties (all phases and now retired) so I am familiar with color theory. Nonetheless I thoroughly enjoy your videos and can honestly say that they are going to help a lot of people who are just coming into the art/pinstriping scene. Keep the videos coming and much love and respect.💯❤️✊🏼
@@Artpainterdude thank you very much. I do appreciate that. I have seen people talk a little about color theory in regards to pinstriping, but no one source really dedicating a lot to it. Might as well give my stab creating one.
@jaycalcott9654 this color series is going to take a while, but I think a series focusing on applying the principles of design to pinstriping would be interesting.
Great video, very helpful. This helps a beginner like me get a better understanding of design and how not to over saturate. It would really be helpful if you could show us how to correct a line so to maintain the symmetry throughout the design process.

They take a bit to get to, but I am keeping them coming. I do like the community that builds around them.

That pulled off paint border is a great touch. The texture is an excellent contrast and complement to the pinstripe lines.
Thank you. It is super simple to do.
Great video. Love the design and your colour ideas.
Thanks it is fun to isolate these color problems as pinstriping designs.
I for one am definitely interested in a design series
