  • This video is very different from what I normally post on here but I've gotten a ton of requests to do a try on haul of all the Dope Snow Ski/Snowboarding gear I was sent this season.
    Dope Snow is a ski/snowboard apparel brand based in Europe and up until this month, they weren't available in the US or Canada. I've been a big fan of their gear for a few seasons now so as soon as I saw that they had launched over here I reached out!
    This try-on haul video is not sponsored but all the gear I show off in the video was gifted to me.

      Usual size. I don’t like my jackets to be baggy. I’m short but semi stocky. N even the S was the perfect fit. Not fitted but lose enough for me to wear my ninja suit n fleece and still be able to move without restriction

    It seems like the PO should stand for pull over. But the regular fleece you showed was also a pullover rather than a zip up. So I don't know why they did it like that. Their products are great I just bought a coat myself. They do run a bit big though, which isn't a bad thing. It's just good to keep in mind that you don't have to order a size up because your afraid it will run small. They definitely are not a brand that runs small they fit loosely, and run a bit large.

      Thank you! I haven't got a chance to get out on a super snowy day yet but judging by how they feel I think they'd be great! I do think anything with the softshell fabric may be more water resistant than waterproof but the ones with regular ski jacket material should hold up great with some moisture!

    Loving the SPAM can in the background (intro)... Aloha! First and foremost, love the vid! Super informative. Love seeing how certain apparel fit the not so average height people. I'm 5'4 myself, and I've been eyeing DOPE gear for a while now, but never really pursued getting it until just recently. I purchased a pair of snow pants, and was really going back and forth w/their customer service reps to see what will fit me as far as sizing.. They just looked like they were made for taller people.
    This vid was so helpful in visually seeing how at least the Jackets/Tops fit our height. At first glance on the site it looked super long, but now looking at you wear them, its not so bad.. I think I'm ready to commit to a Jacket now that I see how they look. Thank you for this video! That's awesome that they sent you free gear to showcase.. Super Awesome!
    BTW... never commented on anyones YT vids, until now! Haha. There's a first for everything I guess.. Ride On!

      I am 5’4 too and their notorious Dope Bib is my ABSOLUTE favorite and go to. It’s long only if you don’t have boots on (like usual with all snow pants). Fits perfectly on my boot and doesn’t drag🤙🏽 wind proof, waterproof, and great for any condition! Used it in the dead of winter and on hot Blue bird days with a sweater. Worked out perfectly!

    • @jamesnolen3934
      @jamesnolen3934 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A jacket with built in insulation doesn’t allow you to layer or shed layers.

    • @ArielleShipe
      @ArielleShipe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with James- it's nice to have options. Also, besides the one really cold day we had here last week I've gotten by with just a base layer top underneath and have been plenty warm. I think the Annok is a great looking jacket! You'll just want a nice midlayer on really cold days :) Choosing the right jacket is a delicate art because if you get too hot then you sweat and that sweat can make you get really cold really fast so you want to be able to add or take away layers so you can stay warm but not too warm, if that makes any sense.
