They're a great company. They actually worked with me to figure out what pickups I needed for my PRS and ended up winding me a set of ODR's but with more balls, and the results are mind-blowing.

I love the new intro! The graphics are cool with the name of the channel and opening with a sample of the pedal/gear's tone is great! Much better than you having to spend a bunch of time getting a tongue-twister right. :)

You REALLY want to try the Statesboro Blues pedal....it is based on 2 of Duanes famous pedals he used ...the SWEEP rolls between a Fuzz Face pedal and then the opposite dials in Rhodium (I think that's what its called ..lol..) but it also has a separate gain ...and its is a KILLER sounding pedal for slide or just picking and chicken pickin for SURE!!!!! A good bit of the company is based on the tone of the Allman Bros band's live performance at the Filmore East !!!! Their amps ....pickups....pedals....speakers.....now they also do a cpl of others ..but that's the basis of a most of their products..
I think you are a great player. I first saw you review the Kmise Pedals. After that I look forward to seeing you play with other stuff. It doesn't have to be perfect. I just need to get the basic sounds and work with it.
I don't really get this pedal. It sound good, but ZZ Top wasn't really known for having a unique guitar tone so what's the point? I understand doing signature pedals for artists that have an extremely recognizable sound like J. Mascis or Jack White but this just seems like a bridge too far imo.
Do a side by side comparison with you Warm Audio Foxx Tone Machine pedal... Billy Gibbons was a very frequent user of the Foxx Tone... and also the Eliminator album used that fuzz sound A LOT.

There are several 300 and even 200 guitars that are coming from over seas that are really GOOD for the price...some like the Jet 350 even the 300 punches well above its price!!! Ibanez has done a Strat ish guitar that not much more than 200 that's sweet!!!

Without realising, ZZ Top probably got me into fuzz before I even thought about learning guitar - that and the tone to Dire Straits's Money For Nothing, which was apparently Mark Knoplfer's attempt to mimic Billy Gibbons's sound. This pedal came out in May. The best I can tell it is a modded Tube Screamer just like the Boss SD-1 which merely changed the diodes to create asymmetrical clipping. The Eliminator has swapped out diodes too, changed to germanium ones. In short it uses 40 year old topography. Soooo ... come up with a catchy name and do some good graphic art and you too can reinvent the wheel. WTF
To be fair to the creator, the tone control on this pedal provides usable tones at every point in the turn, this does not come across in this video but it's something very few pedals achieve.

I just bought a used Fender rarities telecaster like 2 weeks ago and put .07's on and I really like them. I think the 9.5 inch radius makes them better than the 12 inch I had tried before.
I always wondered why anyone would even want to sound like another,- particularly another famous,- guitarist. I've spent decades trying to find sounds that work and speak for me, and have zero interest in even " intereptative " covers.That whole cult of worship has really turned me off since I was a beginner/ teen. Sounds like many Ge drives that use higher gain components that are still somewhat widely available, like the cheap and cheerful EHX efforts.Solid enough, but by no means unusual or exceptional.
Great video. Honest as always. The pedal isn't anything special. Useable but a bit to many pennies. You could easily get close with any number of cheapies and maybe an eq.

If you order a pedal it will take either 10 weeks, and you'll get an OK pedal,or you'll get it right away and get a pedal they pulled from their trash box. It’s appropriately fuzzy, but so far it doesn’t sound markedly different - or more Rev. Billy - than any decent OD.
Can't say I hear "Billy in a Box" but its a cool sounding fuzz.

with that pedal you can play billy gibbons/zztop. but if you set the controls right you could rock some led zepplin or black sabbath on it.
This pedal actually sounds like it would be sick for like hardcore or pop/skate punk.

For a ZZ top pedal they should have sent you some .07-.36 strings.
I tried 7s once and I hated it. It felt like the strings were made of doll hair.
