Bro, I am probably the same age as you guys. Born and brought up in Mumbai . I have seen a lot of the shows that you mentioned but not as much as you have and you remember so much. I have forgotten most of these. I am surprised to know that someone growing up in Pakistan in the 90s would be watching all these same shows. This was a nostalgic trip that you took me on.
I also remember those shows & Movies & Songs, we watched it back in karachi. Those were good time, the relationship both govt. had were not that hostile. Hope things gets better in future.
@@bharat1366bro kabhi Karachi tou, weekends pe tea and coffee cafe all full till midnight and all backchod friends telling stories and having fun. Having a person like Dr. Solanki with you .. 😂😂
If Bollywood and 90's trivia was the criteria dono bhai logon ko Indian Citizenship mil jaati 😛. Btw sarhad ke doosri taraf I was glued to Umar Sharif Stage shows throughout the 90's. I remember all his show names and punch lines by heart ❤. This is how art connects people 😇
I dont know bcz i was born in 2000s but i lived in the early 2010s , apparently this was the last era for tv shows , iconic snows sucj as cid etc. But hearing this from you guys is a treat, i really enjoy listening to stories and experiences of people, junaid bhai apko 5 6 saal se dekh rha hu please dr. Solangi ko phir jinn stories pt4 ke liye lao
I could relate to every single Indian tv show, Bollywood songs n even travelled in buses uve mentioned …. For a person like me who lives in nostalgia this podcast was such a treat to watch…. Apnee city ki beaten sun ke bohot aches laga
I am from India and I grew up in 90s and 2000s. I don't remember most of these shows they talked about except hum panch, filmi chakar and few others. I was never a Bollywood fan so can't relate to those too but I remember many Indian tv shows which aired on Doordarshan, Zeetv, Sony, SABTV and Star plus pre ekta kapoor era which were amazing. I also remember the amazing shows on cartoon network. Post ekta kapoor Indian TV was destroyed. Now, she is doing same thing to Indian OTT. I must say few of the Pakistani specially millennials knowledge of Indian TV and Bollywood is much more than Indians
90s kid here. Sach mein maza aagya. Junaid definitely has more Bollywood knowledge than Indians. I had never heard of that khada khada song. Will look up now. Good work BTW
This is my dream literally to have you and dr solangi to have a permanent series.🙏❤️ You guys share such a strong bond together that its such a powerful conversation
Yar i envy not being a 90s child now. I feel that 90s was so much diverse in regards to tv shows, entertainment, songs themes etc. Ab tau ek jesi cheezai hai.
The way the both laughed and joke is all to watch the entire video for 5/6 time or listen just while wokring and playing back on headphones. kudos to both of them.
This is the best tribute to the 90s bollywood and hindi TV from those days and coming from Pakistanis, just makes it even better. Cheers to good times and in hope for more to come!
Thanku so much to both of you dr sahab and junaid Bhai. I sincerely requested Dr sahab personally for this after watching the first episode. It was lovely and so is this. I am a fan of you both. This is Achal chitr aka sayanabilla.
I remember watching jinn stories while travelling to Quetta where i had to live alone in my home that time was thrilling and again we have Doc solangi, amazing!
Junaid Akram ka Sara content ek taraf and this GOAT combo ek taraf.... They both sound too interesting in giving all 90s shows reference that I literally stopped at every reference to browse each and every thing on TH-cam.
Thoda snippets de deta hu jitna dekha hu. Mithun really has a hotel business in Ooty (a hill station in south India), Lilliput was actually an actor in the current MIrzapur season, the lead role of Rajni was played by Priya tendulkar, saap siri was hosted by Mohan kapoor (hate story mein jo ganja actor hain).
I actually feel bad for today's kids or even early 2000's kids who cannot even fathom the freedom and the feeling that the world was so large and unknown, may childhood be in Pk. or California. Doesn't matter. Innocence lost and good friends growing up together is one of lifes best experience. 80's and 90's were best.
Wow finally I have completed this podcast, but still on the way to my home. I enjoyed the entire video. It took me 3 days to finish, as long as I always listen your podcast while driving from my school to home. Thanks Junaid bhai for bringing many things to our knowledge. JUG JUG JIO JUNAID BHAI👏🏽
Fabulous episode, took me to my teenage years , we were diehard WWF fans , one more puppet show on Zee was good called Choona laga ke , HOME TV had some good shows too
What scared me as kid was a horror film named "RAAT" that came out in 1992, directed by Ram Gopal Verma starring Revathi and Om puri. Do check it out as it still stands as a good horror flick!
my friend used to watch wwf on thursdays, his father watched one day with him and that particular episode had trish entered in the ring, his father was so pissed off that he locked the old tv and restricted the use 😆

BTW before Bournvita Quiz Contest became a TV Show it use to be a Huge physical and Radio show held in different cities. And they use to release the Bournvita Quiz contest Books, we use to read with all the Q&As broken down by subjects from GK, Science Sports Etc. We also use to have great kids books like Target and Twinkle
