You did an Awesome Job. I too started a DYI Loc Journey because I refuse to pay somebody 1000.00, I wished I had started it years ago. I am not a "in front of the people blogger", so I just follow people whose hair has the same texture ad length as my hair. I love the different DYI. People use to put a lot of emphasis on a particular grid, and that is great, but you the key word DIY says you can personalize your own technique an still have great results. So, great job Ms. Lady. Keep sharing. ☺

Thank you so much.The top of my hair was like 4.5-5 inches long and the back and sides was more like 3 inches maximum stretched because I trimmed the sides and back to create a more pixie cut. ♥️♥️
TH-cam recommended me your video on my search on looking at locs..got me damn near ready to take this crochet hairstyle out so I can start my loc journey the right way this time..done watched a lot of videos, & decided I want to do the braided root & 2 strands twists locs too but I will be interlocking after I do each one of them..good luck on your journey & mines as well have a nice 🙂blessed day ✝️💖✨️

I did not interlock the roots at when I first did my microlocs install only when I did a retwist/interlock.
