I've always heard others talk about the pain and that's what made me choose to do them myself and maintain them on my own as well. I'm super tender-headed and I did not want to annoy the locitian nor put myself through the pain. BTW, the ladies did an amazing job on your locs; you look beautiful!

I feel like they braiding tight cause I never hear anyone talk about how painful it is and I did mines and it wasn’t painful
These locs look really good. I loced ny sister's hair 3 weeks ago with this same grid pattern too and we did micro locs as well. We took lots of breaks, but I'll say about 10hours for the twisting plus interlocking the roots.
Yes, nobody talks about the pain when interlocking. I did the 2 point rotation for the interlocking for her.
She has 292 locs. We were aiming for 300 but it still came out really full and I'm not mad at the amount because it won't be so much to retie.

Please is micro twist and micro locs the same.
I wanted to cut my hair but my older sister isnt having it she will rather o do micro twist so i want to know if they are the same please
Yes, they are the same. Some people like the twist some braid but it's all the same concept.
They are the same at the beginning, but what makes it different is that micro twists can be loosened in 3 months for example. But micro locs is a more permanent hair style…you would basically leave it in until your hair locks around itself
Omg it's working my nerves just watching it. Too long and too many people. Then you said the interlocking hurt. Ouch just watching it. But your hair looks good. You have alot of hair too. I wish I had a head full of hair like yours. Regular braids would have been faster and easier. I guess micro locs are better because they never come out. What about retwisting ?
Yes Microlocs are better because I’m not taking it out anytime soon. I currently retie every 6-8weeks

It’s painful because they are braiding at the root then locking at the base of the braid that will be very painful😢😮
