Hey there, just wanted to add that the lvl 450 cap is exclusive for official, on unofficial and SP you can get as high as you want. Good tutorial though!

Everyone talks about stacking mutations on the male side. How do you also get them on the female side effectively? No one has ever tried explaining this part, so you get 20 stacks per side.
Yer I’ve watched this video a few times and it doesn’t say, I was looking for a part 2 but nothing, maybe just start breeding for females with a none mutated male and when it 20, breed the mutated fem with the mutated male until they have a baby will all mutations 20 on each side? That’s all I can think of

is it still possible to get past the 20 "limit" if you have female breeders with 2 mutations and a male with 4 mutations, like 2/4 for the current babies(2 from the mother), (4 from the father)?

Hey man, great vid! Quick question, I’ve replaced my male with my first mutated male but all other mutations I’ve had since haven’t included the original mutation melee mutation. Is this just random if your next mutation will include the previous ones? So when your on your 19th mutation, your just hoping the last one on male side copies over the 19 before also? Is this why people normally stack one mutation at a time, so get health to a decent level then look at another stat?

Thank you! Yeah, you should get the other mutations with the new eggs 55% of the time, but it just sounds like you're having some bad luck, just keep going :D
I am doing shadowmains right now and with all buffs like form water the man ult attack is doing 3,000 damage
Is it very necessary to get both breeder pair to have the same stat in all instead of just the one I need such as melee,health and stamina being the same ?,
It isn't technically *required* but it does make breeding for mutations soooo much easier
Can movement speed trigger for mutation on a flyer? The reason I ask is after a couple of days breeding argy's and 11 health mutations I've yet to see movement speed be effected. I know it's an invisible/useless stat but I can account for every mutation I've had, besides the few I've killed by accident, and they ALL had a mutated stat of either Health, Stam, Oxygen, Food, Weight, or Melee. I've yet to see a mutation where one of these wasn't effected and that's at least a 500/1000 eggs so far, lost count around 50 lol. Just curious if you know, good video btw.
Edit; TH-cam shadow bans my replies but thank you. I was thinking that but I'm new to breeding and wasn't sure if I was just getting really lucky but it's one less thing to worry about. Should be patched honestly since it's basically a false mutation, at least oxygen and food shows up even if you wouldn't notice it, tks for the feedback.
What do you do with the females that has mutations and when you have a female egg do you destroy the egg or have it as a breed
Definitely don't breed with it, but you can use the dino for any purpose you want, add it to your army for mate boost, or use it to go caving, boss fights whatever u need it for

Wait If they all have to be the same level when we start then why did you start with a level 5 raptor and breed it with a high level? Did you judt keep breeding those 2 till you had the baby the same level as the parent?
Yes exactly, the lvl 5 had low points in food and oxygen that i wanted to keep low, but the high level had the high points into health, stam, and the like
So i bred the low level with the high level until i had 2 dinos (1 male 1 female) that had all the high points in health, stam, weight, and damge, but the low points in oxygen and food
wait so how am i suppose to get 20 mutations on the mothers side if im only suppose to use mutated males?
You shouldn't if you want to be able to infinity stack the mutations, but if you did want 20/20 on both sides to make it look nice, once you have 20 on the male, breed until you hatch a female that has 20 then breed that new female with the male and any child that comes from them will be 20/20 on both sides
Can you get 20 more mutations on the matrineal line or is 20 father mutations really the cap
You can do the same process the other way only swapping out the female and keeping the original male, but it would be way slower cus you could only breed the one female at a time rather than multiple
Is it possible to get the colors without it saying that it has more mutations? I have 20 mutations on each side and I want it to stay at that number but also have the colors
The only way to do that would be to use commands to change the colors of the dinos, but otherwise sadly no, if you want to make the really cool looking bois, it will always inflate the numbers :(
great video on the basic breeding. but keeping the mutations seperate from each other is also important. makes things easier in the long run. I found out the hard way a while back. having a male for each of the stats you want to mutate is also easier. then waiting for the one to grow. as you can still breed the other males to start on the next stat.
Yo. If I mutate until 450 and start leveling the new dino from there, will it still get deleted?
I actually don't know the answer to that, you would have to ask one of the mega tribes on an official server who has mutated that much 😅 sorry I couldn't help
It seems to be capped. You can't put levels into them once it is at 450
does this work on every server even a fiber craft?
Unless the server has a mod that directly changes how mutations work, then yes this is how it works on every server :)

No, it just makes the process a lot easier,
If u had a lvl 1 and a lvl 3 breeding and the lvl 3 happens to have 2 extra levels into food,
You could get a mutation into food from the level 1s side, the baby would come out at lvl 3 but it's food would still be the same as the other parent.
So essentially that would just be a waste

@@jadenmonroe1047 yeah, every mutation will add 2 levels into a random stat. But on very rare occasions you can get 2 mutations in which case it would be 4 levels higher

Say u get a mutation on a female do u then breed it with a male that has all stats?
if you wanted to keep that going, you would take the mutated female and breed it with the original unmutated male so that their new child would have all the mutations from the female. just be sure their child is male so you could put it back into the line and keep stacking new random mutations

Mutations are meant to be 7% chance, but they seem to be so rare and hard to get

Okay… so basically you take til you get the best starter stats possible with 0 mutations on all breeders. Then only change the male with the mutations. If a female gets a mutation you want, how do u add it back into the line without messing it up
If a female gets a mutation you want, you can breed that female with the original best possible stat male that has 0 mutations until you get a male from the female with the mutation and the original male that has the new mutation you want

Another question: might have missed it, but I believe you said once you hit the 20 mut on one side the chances of a mut are 50% then correct?

Also yes, you're chances drop to 50% because once one side is over the 20 "limit" it can't get anymore, but the females are all still 0/20 so u can get mutations from that side

U don’t want to mix different muts. U need to have one male per stat u want to breed
