If they let Mark blend it i would buy it by the pallet but its blended at sutliff with their selection of leaf which ruins it for me. Bold kentucky been my favorite for few years and replaced old dark fired ever since its inception. Will see you tomorrow brother
Thanks my friend yes for me the dark Kentucky blends replace the Latakia blends for me , I will smoke them on occasion but they just mess my mouth up anymore
Brian, no surprises among the top five! Once again, our palates are 180° apart, but that's what makes this hobby so engaging. At the moment I'm smoking plain old Granger. It'll do, but the best Burley out there today, IMHO, is the Sutliff White Cube Burley. The problem is the cut. Big rocks of tobacco that have to be busted up to pack and burn properly. But it has an underlying flavor of a peppery cigar. Love it! My latest discovery is the C&D Stratsfordshire. A medium English, but with surprising complexity. Happy New Year, my friend.
There are some who say that Escudo and de luxe navy rolls are the same thing. Can’t wait for the Cringle review. My previous Cringle tins needed aging to be good though.

I see Brown Flake, I see Dark Plug, etc. Also, hell yeah to HH Bold KY being #1! I haven't been back into pipes for long this time around, but it 100% takes the #1 spot in my book! :D

A lot of folks have complained that their Cringle ‘23 was bone dry out of the tin. Mine seems ok. Will try it soon…
