They should have made the limited time modes permanent when they stopped support on the game.
Reliving all the original town hall events aside, does anyone remember the character showcase where you could actually buy the character if you saved up enough? I remember seeing petrified cactus on the showcase and I remember wanting it so bad I actually saved up until I had enough to purchase her. At the time I still enjoyed being on the defending team so I actually willingly put myself on the attacking team to play that character. Good memories. In fact, I remember the boss events being available and I tried it but constantly failed because my team was crap

Good thing my fan boy ass decided to pre order the game. Boss hunt was very frustrating and hard, but very fun. My favorite gamemode now gone. At least I got the boss hunt achievement.

The only community boss hunt I remember finishing was the brothers gnomus. Gosh that was fun. When I start to play the PC version, I am installing this mod for sure

How does it work? Like normal where you still invite your friends though the EA app or whatever? Also does both people need to have the mod and then it works fine or? If you know
@@gamingyachuAll players need the mod and you invite them to your backyard like normal. You set up the boss hunt in private play and enter the portal.
It was only a matter of time before we witnessed the return of boss hunt on the mods series, now with gw2 on PC it feels like Cam opened Pandora's box to a whole new reality where popcap and EA didn't ruined their games...

Do you actually get the rewards for completing boss hunts in solo? If so, I will actually do them lol.
You can get the special hats for completing hunts in private play.

If anyone’s still wondering when the last boss hunt actually was, it was in October of 2019 with the Pumpkin Squash being the last official boss hunt for Halloween

I thought this was a late update,I was about to cry since I thought Iwould finally be able to unlock the trophies I was missing for not being able to participate in the boss hunts that I missed out on.

Game mode concept: Big vanquish
Each team spawns with a random boss and the first team to kill 15 bosses wins
The moding series is my favorite one so far.

I dont have a link or anything to the mod but theres a mod that kind of emulates multiplayer in private play, it lets them wear cosmetics + gives them fake names to make it feel less lonely
Theres also a mod that lets you bring AI teammates to boss hunt

4th (easiest): Kings day out
3rd: Brothers gnomus
2nd: Sasquatch
1st (hardest): Spooky squash
Also this mod apparently allows you to play Backyard Battleground as a map. I don't know for what mode but I'm assuming it's for anything that's not turf
I've played Rando's Rapid Fuck-You on that map, and yes, your assumption is correct.
Wolfy, you know what you need? People who play the game with you on PC, i'm pretty sure that everyone in these comments would help you out mate. For some other Bosshunts or some Soil survivors. Also Ballers and Pogo Peas would be a bit more rare than in the actual game
