I'm glad you mentioned the power of the human soul. I was explaining to my friend how a regiment of guards could possibly kill or destroy anything that was far more powerful simply by tapping into their innate psychic powers through their devotion to the Emperor of Man. I made him watch a few breakdowns where such things had occurred and how regular humans could be recognized as saints and appointed to super high field of command. He doesnt question why I bought a small regiment of guard anymore, even though I'm not a guard player. One example: Even though I'm an Ultramarines player, I think Commissar Sebastian Yarrick is easily worthy of noting. He was not only worth the purchase; he's one of my favorite models and characters. The man had his arm krumped and then proceeded to replace it with the arm of the Green-Skin-Filth who maimed him... *L E G E N D A R Y*

Sinistra Manus Tenibre ver roughly translates from latin to “Dark/Shadowed Left Hand”....given that High gothic is usually faux latin, I find that amusing. Also “Ordo Sinistre” while having the common meaning in english of “sinister” as in malevolent, seems likely to also tie to the latin origin of the word, meaning the left side. (Superstitions about left handed people eventually evolved the meaning of sinister into its present mode)
Sinister is usually seen as dark or dishonorable because 90%of people are right handed and would fight with a sword in the right hand and either a shield or a dagger in the left. The dagger was seen as dishonorable and used for back stabbing or ambushes/assassinations.
Have you considered covering some Astartes Chapter histories? Ones of interest anyway, such as The Renegade Astral Claws that became the Pirate Red Corsairs, along with the Badab War. Another to cover would be the ups & downs of the Celestial Lions and their near Extinction along with their open opposition to the Inquisition...lots of conspiracies involving that chapter and the enemies they've made, bless their hearts...

I always imagine it as a double edged sword. The psi titans were bright lights in thr dark and an easy target for demons. The emperor kept them close to help mask their presence.
"...The answer, as the wise know, is simple. It is because finally humanity had the arts at their disposal to make their dreams reality, and the dreams of humanity have ever been the darkest things in all creation." By the Emperor, this sounds like humanity in a pill...
In many senses the Castigator class titan from the Dark Adeptus Grey Knights novel reminds me of this, its weapon shot actual demons. Ordo Sinister seems an old idea rather than a new one and something straight out of the Dark Age of Technology as surmised.
This was awesome I didnt know that I cared about this subject, until I heard you talk about it just now, and ive read the lexicanum and wikia on it too... Nice work... Very very nice Makes me curiously jump on a tangent though, will you be doing a video about Machine and weapon spirits?
I have a question about blackholes in warhammer40K. Are they like blackholes in our universe or are they some kind of reality peephole for the chaos gods or psychic sink or something? Because they are really scary on their own but 40K probably made them even more terrefing.
Always interested in Warhammer 40k, but this was by far more interesting than many videos I have seen. Reluctant to read during the Horus Heresy Arc, due to already knowing how it ends, but this kind of video makes me think otherwise if it involves something like this. Psi Titans for the win!
Aren’t SRAs just Gellar fields that are more adaptable (helps nullifies everything anomalous instead of only Warp Shenanigans) and reliable? Also, During the DAOT they had materials such as Phase Iron which were warp-nullifying or Warp-suppressing, so maybe the STC for a Reality Anchor is still around somewhere. The DAOT already knew how to mass-produce SCP-500 (It’s the thing the Dark Eldar stole and when the Imperials tried to steal it back, Nurgle daemons helped to defend Commarragh since Nurgle himself was afraid of the implications of its use.) so it wouldn’t be that far-fetched.

Well she made me want to tear my skin off and run away and I increasingly got the feeling she was soulless...
yeah I know that feeling pal
I feel you bro
Is it because she was a doll? Or because she was imaginary?

I'm glad you mentioned the power of the human soul.
I was explaining to my friend how a regiment of guards could possibly kill or destroy anything that was far more powerful simply by tapping into their innate psychic powers through their devotion to the Emperor of Man.
I made him watch a few breakdowns where such things had occurred and how regular humans could be recognized as saints and appointed to super high field of command.
He doesnt question why I bought a small regiment of guard anymore, even though I'm not a guard player.
One example:
Even though I'm an Ultramarines player, I think Commissar Sebastian Yarrick is easily worthy of noting. He was not only worth the purchase; he's one of my favorite models and characters. The man had his arm krumped and then proceeded to replace it with the arm of the Green-Skin-Filth who maimed him...

A null who can also pilot a titan? I'd imagine it'd be a few dozen people
i wonder if the psy-cannon would be especially effective against wraithbone, which is what i believe those Wraiths were made out of; wraithbone is made from raw Immaterium by Bonesingers

Psi-titan princeps- "no."
If anyone is interested there is a pretty good short story by John French called Ordo Sinister, its about the exploits of the psi-titan Borealis-Thoon at the time of the War in the Webway. It goes into more detail about the functions of the titan itself.
Hey Luetin your the only channel I watch that gets a like before I even see the video , keep up the good work man !
Nice critical thinking there.
I am a huge fan of your videos. Incredible work. But also, and I mean only good things by this, if I ever have trouble sleeping, I can put on one of your videos and sorta zone out and BOOM, asleep. You have a fantastic voice for that. A great cadence with clear elocution. I appreciate the amazing work you do.
YES. I do this, but for me its another channel. search youtube for "History of the Unification Wars" and youll find a channel who does 40k lore from the perspective of a remembrencer. Its name is escaping me right now, but its perfect.
Imperials when they see the psy titans: Are we the baddies?
Commissar: Do your duty guardsmen or I'll do MY duty!
Guardsmen: Is that a yes?

G:....
C:Yes...we're the worst....we might as well just eat eldar babies to complete the look.
G: still better than the tyranids though!

The opening quote is my favourite of all. Glad you put it in here!
I dont get what it means, help pls
Wish the team behind Neon Genesis Evangellion could animate this whole fight, especially 19:19
Sanguinius... always the wise... I can imagine such a terror of those god Machines...
When you upload my spirit and faith in the Emperor rises exponentially.
New Leutin vids and new TTS episodes make this February one of the best ive had in recent years. Keep up the excellent work dude

Damn, that still @2:07 alone should be enough to instil in the uninducted, the rampant scale of this mindblowing setting.
Amazing content as always Mr Luetin! Highly charged for a great lore video. Who needs audible books when you’re around! By far you’ve got me hooked on 40k. I must have rewatched countless videos of yours. Many thanks!!
I’d love to see a full scale all out OS vs GK battle. I’d kill just for that to happen somehow in the lore
As soon as I heard the name "Ordo Sinister" I immediately wondered if there was an "Ordo Dexter" too :)
Timothy Marchant I think there actually might be....
Sinister is usually seen as dark or dishonorable because 90%of people are right handed and would fight with a sword in the right hand and either a shield or a dagger in the left. The dagger was seen as dishonorable and used for back stabbing or ambushes/assassinations.
Oooo, been looking forward to a in depth Psi-Titans!
That wasn't in Debth enough?
@@SuperAmaton luetin says himself the imperium dont record and records of the psi-titans only story's we don't know much about them
@@thenamelessking7873 Yeah? Thats what i am saying...
Shirou Tokisada Amakusa Kotomine it was deeper than my previous knowledge.
As if I thought 40k couldn't get any more over the top, I was wrong...again. Thanks to none other than you Mr. Luetin. You are truly a gem.
I never knew that the black ships made up the second largest fleet in the imperium. Really love titans I own a warlord titan for the table top game not the new titan warhammer game I'm talking about the large forge World model really expensive but so worth it as it was titan's that got me into playing warhammer but back then you could only get the warhound titan
8 hour drive.....starting with this one.
Luetin, I started writing a little to say what I really enjoy about your channel, then noticed it was a few paragraphs of me blowing smoke up your back side. So to keep it short and sweet; Great content, reliable information, excellent production quality and subscriber interaction. Rare qualities to find all at once in the land of TH-cam. Marry me.
Luetin coming in clutch on a night I don't have much to do, fuck yes.
40k is mid.
I would love to see some 20k !
Humanity at the height of it's power.
@@dragonfangalexander Yeah could be interesting, were other known races in contact back then? Perhaps unknown ancient alien empires that are long gone in 40k ?
A wise man once said, "i wonder when will the people question, against what we need those enormous cannons facing the skies". It makes you feel safe and protected. But makes you wonder too. Against whom do you need Titans? The Baneblades were light tanks in the 20k... but against what? Why do you need heavier than baneblade tanks - massproduced - employed in armies? Against whom? What can be a threat so great?
What creatures were capable of standing against an imperium as great and as developed as the 20k-s Mankind?
Oh hey. Maybe the wanted to send a Titan to kick a Chaos-Gods ass?
They made machines the size of Saturn's rings that ate stars :3
Luetin you are way too good at presenting all this i would consider psi titans among my favourite stuff 40k universe
Sometimes I wonder just what would've happened if a few of these things were on Cadia before it's fall.
I never played 40k but damn I love the lore it reminds me of my old job. In training the facts were that we are always out numbered, and we have rules to follow. So we hit hard fast and violent don't give them a chance to run.
Thank you for all of these video history collections, hopefully we can avert these
Levels of death in the future.
Thank you for recommending Belisarius Cawl: The Great Work a few vids ago. A fantastic story that I enjoyed immensely.

So I've been thru most of your catalog of videos and man I've got to say I love the way you present the lore. You obviously do a lot of homework and I'm sure your outlines would look better than most people's final papers. Well done sir and thank you.
Yes this is the video I have been waiting for Psi titans and ordo sinister for the win ! This is my favorite ordo and I am happy we finally have model and more information about it. Thanku Luetin for this amazing video ! 💖
So basically Evangalion battles?
Gotta love the imperium.
I always imagine it as a double edged sword. The psi titans were bright lights in thr dark and an easy target for demons. The emperor kept them close to help mask their presence.
bro, 9:29 dude is gonna sneak around and be an assasin looking like that .
Wait, so those cannons are essentially just warp-based antimatter lance-cannons?...
... _Holy fuck that's so metal... T_T_
"...The answer, as the wise know, is simple. It is because finally humanity had the arts at their disposal to make their dreams reality, and the dreams of humanity have ever been the darkest things in all creation."
By the Emperor, this sounds like humanity in a pill...
Checks watch, too early for grim darkness of (insert night) joke...
In the grim darkness of the restaurant kitchen there is only Luetin.
Luetin + Richard Boylan + Astartes + Bruva Alfabusa = New glorius age for Warhammer 40k writing😍.
All I have to say is this was an amazing video!
In many senses the Castigator class titan from the Dark Adeptus Grey Knights novel reminds me of this, its weapon shot actual demons. Ordo Sinister seems an old idea rather than a new one and something straight out of the Dark Age of Technology as surmised.
This was awesome
I didnt know that I cared about this subject, until I heard you talk about it just now, and ive read the lexicanum and wikia on it too...
Nice work... Very very nice
Makes me curiously jump on a tangent though, will you be doing a video about Machine and weapon spirits?
probably yes, seems a good new mechanicum / emperor vid to blend at some point
@@Luetin09 yes please make a video about spirits bro!
I have a question about blackholes in warhammer40K.
Are they like blackholes in our universe or are they some kind of reality peephole for the chaos gods or psychic sink or something?
Because they are really scary on their own but 40K probably made them even more terrefing.
Wow :o now I want to see one of these in the Ultimate Apocalypse mod for dawn of war
Always interested in Warhammer 40k, but this was by far more interesting than many videos I have seen. Reluctant to read during the Horus Heresy Arc, due to already knowing how it ends, but this kind of video makes me think otherwise if it involves something like this.
Psi Titans for the win!
I remember when I stumbled upon this bit of lore. It's so grimdark
Just keep coming back to this solid content time and again. Thanks, Luetin.
Grey knights need to have access to one of these!
You are the vaati of warhammer, the master of lore
The Imperium could really benefit from Scranton Reality Ancors
@@fadelsukoco3092 The Foundation actually survived all those millennia, but it's now a a part of the Inquisition
Fadel Sukoco fair point, but I think SRA would also be able to nullify necron’s reality altering shenanigans which are tech based
@@meowmeowmeow594 SCP-001 the Emperor of man
Nah, apparently the more are used the worst baseline gets.
Just thought I'd point out that, with some interpretive license, Ordo Sinister translates to Order of the Left-Hand Path.
The presence of the “King of Terrors” sounded more like a Pariah’s than what I associate with a psyker (pain, disorder and madness).
The reason for its ephitet is due to the fact that a Blank is its Princeps.
The music at the start was awesome, great video as always, thanks 🙂
If 40k was Stellaris the Imperium of Man is the pysonic awakened faction. Dark age is the materialistic empire that developed AI that turned on them lol.
How conveinient, I recently started a 40k roleplay with my pals, and my scenario revolves around an ancient titan with a psyker in it, a psi-titan essentialy.
I didn't know that these were actualy a thing back then.
Luetin09 my daily refresh of this page is rewarded
Do Commissar Yarrick next? The guy seems like a total badass in his hunt for Warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka
Any plans on an Inquisitor video? I know you've touched on them a lot in various videos "The Grey Knights" "Exterminatus" etc. but one specifically dealing with the The Inquisitors?
