I think these are really interesting cars & will be highly relevant in the years to come as they trickle down into enthusiast ownership. I want one next but I have chosen to run & refine my CL Accord for a few more years yet, in the meantime I will be watching the various tuners develop parts for the 1.5 & admire the modified cars the scene throws up.

I bought my FK7 in early 2017, before the Type R was announced. It’s nearly paid off now, and I really don’t want to have to get a new car and deal with all that depreciation again.
So seeing insane numbers like this coming from the 1.5L is so cool… gives me some hope hahaha

In some ridiculous market that doesn't have Civic Type R FK8 officially imported, the cost of having the base Civic and all those parts come together is still less than half of buying a real FK8 Type R. So yeah, since the latest gen Civic doesn't differs much from the FK7, I'm really excited about the figures.

if the car chassis cannot handle the power, it's will lead to different overall performance, sometimes the engine will like ( hold the car tight very tight ) sometimes will feel like soft, sometimes will feel like very stiff rigid car, i believe it's depends on the engine it might gives unbelievable performance. the engine can be the main elements how the body chassis deal with it and vice versa.
