10:24 normalised basically makes sure the length of the vector is 1 Basically, if you move both right 1 and up 1, you are actually diagonally moving at square root of 2. Normalised will take a vector like that and move you up 0.7 (approx) and right 0.7 so diagonally you move 1

6:48 scaling any body that interacts with physics will generate some wonky behavior. best option is to always just scale texture
