But then I remembered how many of my friends never fished either, and just how much fun it was taking them and teaching. Honesty they always wanted to go fishing again! Patience helps a ton when sharing things you enjoy doing for others who have no clue. I hope you take them out again, this was a kick and stirred a ton of memories.

I think beginners need a lot of action on their first try to be addicted. A passionate fishergirl like you can handle it when there is no bite every minute. But a beginner? I don´t think so. I brought my Mom to Pikefishing, on the Water i knew best, with the Lure i knew she can catch one and she did.

Plain and simple if they are going to learn about bass fishing you are the best teacher to teach them! I took some young people fishing for the first time and you have to be very patient, watch everything they are doing and make it a fun positive experience so they want to try it again! I think that I can see some future fishing content taking some more young people out there in your boat and share your skills to them! This was a fun video. I have a suggestion for you. Have a Hillary Sue casting class on land at the Sorority house a day or two before you go next time. Rubber casting practice plugs are cheap. What a hoot! Keep having fun.
Trick for getting that loop out of spinning reel easy. Close bail and loosen drag. Pull main line allowing drag to spin and will pull loop out with ease
If I only knew what it was like to be raised by a Bass Fishing Dynasty…. HILL can absolutely fish but she hit the lottery when it comes to parents. Good for you.
My 13yo daughter loves it when the boys at school on Monday morning ask her what lures and lb line they bit on 😬. Good job getting these city girls out so they can see why the boys love it.

It would be so awesome to meet you and your dad. Grandpa too. I would love to fish down in Florida sometime. I lived in Ft. Pierce for 6 years in my younger days. I never really bass fished while we lived there. Just started back fishing a little over a year ago. I am addicted now. Lol
This look fun but I don’t have the patience to teach sometime. Especially to people that don’t listen or the bite is hot. So mostly let them catch small fish that is easy and don’t need knowledge or understanding
A fun video to watch would be catfishing with live and cut bait. See how they do putting live bait and bloody cut bait on a hook along and rebaiting and also how they manage taking a much bigger fish off the hook. Heck, maybe even a video where they put live worms on a hook.
Whopper plopper girl was reeling in too fast and aggressive. Prolly would’ve gotten one if she slowed it down. Great patience by you Hilary, you handled every situation well.
