@@time2rowco999 for that, hush win and batman no, all this hidden war show that Hush is better person that Batman and I'm not talking about batman hush, more deeper in this saga you know why
Yeah bcuz his personality doesn’t have any reflection of a selfish prick as a character? He doesn’t like “working” with anyone and how many thousands of innocent of people has he let the Joker kill, bcuz “he” doesn’t want to kill but thinks after 100k deaths maybe the Joker would learn a lesson that it’s wrong… 🤨 is he stupid?
In terms of Riddler's intelligence, I imagine most people sleep on it; Penguin even admits to him (before beating Riddler to a pulp), that Riddler is so smart, he could "give Lex and Mr. Terrific a run for their calculators"
The one bad day one shot with The Riddler is amazing in that it shows Riddler with the brakes off. If Riddler stops having the compulsion to leave clues when he commits crimes he would be near unstoppable and when he comes up with plans for other people you get the killing joke.
It's also showcased when Lex is going around giving all the villains 'upgrades' but for the Riddler he just gives him a pep talk. Like dude you could easily be an S tier villain and your making stupid riddles for Batman.
Didn’t someone bring Tommy back, like right after this? He was actually Hush, and he has surgery to look like Bruce, to take his place, and it involves Selina, with him taking out her heart one point, so Batman has to do his thing, and somehow ends with Selina alone, with Hush/Tommy, insinuating she’s gonna kill him. It lead to another Catwoman solo book, I think? Isn’t that the run, when Hush becomes a returns?

Hush is one of the stories that you look to when talking about Batman. Were you really get to explore the intellect of Batman rather than the physical prowess. It makes the story that much more interesting because as a reader when you're reading this sometimes you can be genuinely confused, especially if it's your first time reading and then it all fucking clicks at the end
I wish someone would write The Riddler in a way that really pushes Batman's intellectual side.. A few stories like that exist, but most of the time I really don't enjoy The Riddler.
Hands down one of the greatest Batman stories. Its displays all of Batman's attributes and his weaknesses perfectly. Introduces a great villain, such a spiteful character and yet had the patience and intelligence to manipulate Batman, his friends, families and enemies. Having Jim Lee as the artist is the cherry on top.

39:35 Riddler didn't tell anyone about Batman's identity because Batman played on Riddler's addiction to riddles and even stated that a riddle everyone knows is worthless, then proceeded to talk about Ra. I think this is a important piece you missed. Loved that you covered this!
The funny thing about the Jason Todd reveal is that, according to the Red Hood comics that occurred after Hush, that not only was Jason alive but he confirmed Riddler's assertion that batman was Bruce Wayne to Hush personally and was the original "Hush" that held Tim Hostage before tagging out with Clayface mid-fight
This has got to be one of my favorite stories. Had a great time watching this. I hope you cover the return of Jason todd and also the Hush stories by Paul Dini.

That Jim Lee cover of Batman holding Superman down by the throat was so badass. Not even a big DC fan but I bought both the original and black & white variant covers. ~_~
What I never understood was why Jason-Hush could bleed. In fact, they make a point to show a massive spurt of blood when the batarang slammed into his thigh, meaning it can't be Clayface. Either Jason had already been revived and Batman was wrong, or Clayface can bleed, meaning that Clayface' power is a plot hole.
