I hope the bottom drops out, then maybe I can afford some of the books I want, for me it doesn't matter, I don't get my books slabbed, I never intend on selling any of them and I don't care what my family does with them after I'm gone. I just like to collect old comics in nice shape that appeal to me, mostly because of the covers.
The Jimmy Olsen book was after Superman #123. I wish I had seen that Halloween Fun book. I would have paid more for it.
I was trying to remember the issue number
@@ComicCollectorGeek Allan, it is Jimmy Olsen #45. June 1960.
Most of those peak prices seem to be during the COVID bump from around 2020-2022. I tend to ignore prices around then, so I don't think of them as necessarily a price drop as maybe others do, but a reset to where we can start looking at prices and comparing them to pre-COVID. If they get below say 2019'ish prices, I start asking questions about if they're dropping. But every comic is different, so that's just a generalization.
Comics are toast. They might never hit their peak price again. Maybe 40 years from now.
It's Supergirl: World of Tomorrow and Milly Alcock has been cast as Supergirl
