At the end it looked quite distressed. Adding salt was nice, and the water makes the salt even nicer. I watched the children put a large cookie into the cassette tape player pretending it was a tape. The machine didn't like that too well. God job at getting it to take in two VHS tapes! Save the spools of tape and string them around the neighborhood on a windy day. 200 meters of VHS tape flying around in yards makes neighbors happy!
My guess is the reason the tape kept ejecting (before the smash-up) was most likely a dirty/faulty VCR mode switch (if nothing else was amiss). A common problem.
Dude you should take one of these apart, put a small screw in place of the fuse, and pour water over the PCB. Or hook up the mains AC to the big capacitors.
BRUH did u take all my e-waste when I dropped it off at the depot? First the identical dodgy DVD player; now the exact same TV/VCR combo which has this very problem? 🤣🤣
Please be careful when you mess with CRT tvs and monitor I know you probably going to ignore my warning but I still am going to inform you that CRT TV and monitor have a device called a fly back transformer this transformer has an output voltage that can reach 32000 volts the CRT much like a capacitor can store a significant charge that can not only throw you across the room but it can kill you and it can hold this charge for several hours after you unplug it so please be careful this kind of voltage can conduct through gloves if they are not rated for it
Why does everyone try to act like a big brain by mentioning the flyback transformer? We all know what it is and what it does, stop trying to act smart.
@@smashthings1 it is not acting smart these thing are dangerous the CRT was another thing I mentioned it can retain an extreme charge even after you disconnect powered you don't need to reply as I will not respond again
Actually, My KTN TV uses the same CHUNGWA thing, and i can tell you that this color crt tv is shit. So let me explain you I bought it in 2007, this tv ALWAYS had problems. The first problem was the crt tube. I took it for servicing, the people made something(i really dont know) and then it came back to me. And the TV worked until 2013.(in this year i bought Sony Trinitron CRT TV, Model from 2006,which works perfectly fine, and i am still keeping it.) btw i like your water and salt test, cuz i made the same thing with this piece of junk(most TVs, which have the lable DIGITAL CONTROL have problems with the tube) So i inserted water in it, waited 7 hours, until drains, and i cant bellieve that the TV held 5 days without problems(this is for the problem:I mean there is a picture, but sometimes dissapears, together with the sound and sometimes appears, OR NEVER appears) In March 2019 i inserted water in it, when it was turned ON(cuz i was really NERVOUS about the problem) AND it died...

Yesterday I found a nice sony vcr near the bin. After some cleaning off the dust, it plays excellently.
must have threw it out just cuz it was old and not broken
@@qinpawz Yes, it is true. In the past it was really nice to have a vcr but now it is obsolete.
@@alexandrossotiropoulos5621 my parents have a philips vcr from 20 years ago and it works fine they didnt throw it out

I get that with a lot of fan models I search... just videos of me smashing one/a similar one.
So this is where you get the phrase "Chungwa quality" 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah😂😂
I guess that TV didn't want to eat or drink that day. Great tube smash at the end.
It was fasting
