There were probably only 4 or so total reactions to the GTA V trailer (back when it came out). Reaction channels and streaming content were either not popular or very much in its infancy & didn't really become a huge thing till the late 2010s. It's crazy to see how much it changed over the years, and GTA 6 is definitely attempting to capture that zeitgeist.

My advice for any game company planning to release any games in 2025: Don't do it. Release your games next year or years down the line, cause Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to overshadow all of them. Everybody's going to stream the hell out of this game on Twitch.

Gta 6 is the biggest peace of entertainment ever developed, it's production value is more than any movie or game ever made, currently production cost is over 2 billion USD, new technologies are developed for this game that has never been used for anything else, and Rockstar had never used cinematic trailers for their games, only in game engine renders which means you can expect the game quality to look exactly like this if you're pc can handle it, and probably will give even the latest pc hardware a tough time so yea, 2025
It’s set to release in February/March of 2025 for PS5/Xbox and there is no “set” release date for PC yet but it’s expected to release sometime in 2027. There isn’t a set amount of playtime yet but it’s expected between 250-400hrs of gameplay. It’ll be around 200GB at Release but could be more depending on add-ons. They haven’t said a release Price yet but if they follow the trend of GTA5 then we can expect a $70 release price for the Standard version and up to $150 for Premium versions.

I want to escape the modern day culture. GTA 6 is soo dissapointing to me. There are so many cities, with so many decades of culture. (And crime) That could be fun to explore. Just why. Why go back to Vice City which was already done perfectly in the perfect era that made it so unique and fun. Like, jeez, if you want to do a game in the current year, at least make it a new city. Like Chicago or something. Not maps we already visited in the 3-d era
It will be fine and almost every single GTA game were about modern times at the time or things that were still an issues in today's world and satire the mess out of it

My only concern is if there's a GTA 7, where the location of the game will be.
They've recycled NYC, California and Miami twice now (technically 3 times, if you included Vice City Stories).
Texas is big enough to host a GTA game, but Rockstar just did RDR2 so it wouldn't make sense to base the next GTA in Texas... Idk man for all we know, GTA 6 could be the last one
