im structuring my personal statement around my love for books-- what would be common values for a bookworm? (i need to know what typical values to avoid :D )
I would think less about which values to "avoid" and focus more on which values truly show up for you in your bookworm journey. Even if they are "common" values, you can still draw "uncommon" insights in your writing. Hope this helps!
Your life doesn't have to be dramatic for you to have a unique and compelling essay topic. I'm sure you still have skills, qualities, values, and interests that you'll bring with you to college. Brainstorm your topic through that lens!
Yes, but please be careful about accidental plagiarism. You cannot use the same format, verbiage, combination of topic + insights, etc. It's OK to draw some inspiration for your own essay, but that's about it!

Ooh, I appreciate that feedback! Thank you!

You are amazing. Supplemental essays would you say weigh more than the common app essay?
