I think it takes a lot of personal growth to make changes like that, and particularly to put it out for all to see- Appreciate that you are human, made a mistake, and making a change! Keep up the growth! I've always enjoyed your perspectives on CAAC, as well as your takes on Kinnan. To everyone else throwing shade and criticism- I would remind you of a very old saying "Let he/she who is without sin, cast the first stone" I don't condone bad behavior, but I absolutely can get behind anyone who is willing to admit and make a change! Much respect!
People make mistakes, I know I have, and you owning and aiming to correct sets an example for others. i think of tyler 1 story from Lol, for sure its different situation, game, and community… but its similar because the “toxicity” is really coming from a passion to be the best and wanting to see excellence in your game. Glad to hear you are coming back on youtube. cedh wouldn’t be the same without creators who are testing new things and pushing experimental and specialty decks to the limit like you have.
Dude, I’m happy to see you back. I really hope this doesn’t change your sense of humor and enthusiasm. At the end of the day, this is a game, to be enjoyed by all. There is always going to be people who will paint you into a negative light, pay them no mind and continue refining your craft. Cheers mate.
Hey, thanks for being a great role model on how to take accountability for your actions, apologize and improve from there. I think you've handled this exceptionally well so far. I look forward to seeing more content from you.
Welcome back, and thank you for your sincerity! It's obvious that your time off did you well, and I am excited to see what you have in store for all of us!
Good to have you back. Always appreciate your high intensity competitiveness, as you said those qualities are surely encouraged in sports. I was worried with the thumbnail saying “Done.” thought you’re out of the game for good. Looking forward for your take on the post-ban meta
Glad to see you back bro. Keep staying humble and positive. It's an exciting time for change, hopefully for the betterment of the game and the community.
Looking forward to having wounded content again! Welcome back, and I'm glad you were able to reflect on a lot and learn from past mistakes. That can be really hard to and taking ownership of our poor actions doesn't feel great, but is necessary to move on and improve. Best of luck and I'm excited to see what is next!
I know at your core you are a wonderful person and said behavior doesn't define who you are. I have the utmost respect for you even through everything that has happened I knew that you would figure things out and find your way back with a new positive outlook. I look forward to seeing you in the community more and am excited for what is to come.
@@TheRealLachlan long lasting behavior definitely defines a person but when a person notices said behavior and realizes it was wrong and makes adjustments to change and better themselves then I don't believe that bad behavior defines who they are at their core. People make mistakes and it's how we respond afterwards that truly define us. We as humans are not perfect or flawless. I know Wounded from outside of the tournament scene and he genuinely is a good person who just made a few mistakes and he has put in the effort to work on and better himself and that counts for something in my books.
I hold no grudge here, I will hold u to ur words, u said u want a chance to prove ur words true and that u shall have but he pardon will wait to see the change as im a bit of an old head In the community and I’ve heard it all, and I’ve done most of it as far as mistakes! So I’m definitely down to forgive ya as long as I see it. Good start tho buddy have always enjoyed ur content.
Don’t know you and don’t know everything there is to know about the situation, but wanted to say: it seems from the outside you’re putting in effort and making very good changes. if you’re right about internalizing the reasons why some of your actions and interactions were hurtful that will be a catalyst for some level of positive change, even if just in the pods you’re a part of. I think it’s unfortunate that this situation and these behaviors got to the point they did. I also think it’s unfortunate that the situation (at least from the outside) seems to have needed to end up with as big a shock as it did to prompt the good changes you seem to now be working to make. These factors will undoubtedly give some folks pause with regards to giving you a second chance, but I hope for your sake they don’t take an unreasonable amount of time to do any reevaluating that they ought to. A decent chunk of time makes sense, but harboring a grudge forever due to behavior that by a hypothetical point in the future could be proven to be long-gone does not make sense. People aren’t static. I am very glad that the people that have known me for a very long period of time don’t judge me for who I once was. I used to be a dick in many regards. I even still am now occasionally, but I call myself on it every time I notice it happening (and I try to encourage others to call me on it as well, especially my friends). I don’t think I deserve a trophy or any special respect for improving: that’s something I owed it to the world to do. What I do think I deserved (to some degree) was to have people who were close to me who believed in my capacity to be a more enjoyable person and who were willing to do me the favor of sticking by me to see that improvement get made. I hope you have people you are close to who believe in you the way many of my friends believed in me, and who can help you recognize should you slip up. Best wishes going forward, I’m rooting for you! Here’s to being the best we can be, including in the important realm of ‘not being an abrasive person to interact with’.
Can’t wait until you’re back at the podcast regularly sure do miss the new episodes rolling in. Always enjoy and looked forward to playing spelltable games and always had fun games and usually learned something. Best of luck moving forward.
Glad to see you back man, sports is certainly a different environment, so its pretty understandable that you had some difficulty adjusting to a different sphere of competition. Also people are going to continue giving you shit even with you trying to explain your self and make adjustments, id ignore that and just keep doing your best. Theres a lot of athletic environments where shit talk is par for the course, mean words dont tend to effect people as much when they are regularly putting there bodies and sometimes lives on the line. Different strokes for different folks, at the end of the day the people who dont support the efforts others take to change are never going to be satisfied. Make amends and adjusts where possible, and keep doing your best bro!
Whatever ur criticisms may be, Wounded Satellite and Max P have shared their creativity not to mention a lot of free information with this community on a subject we all have enjoyed. It doesn’t seem right to only point out the wrong a person or organization has done without acknowledging any of the good.
Well said, glad you took the time to digest everything. Ironically this is the least crazy thing that has happened recently haha. What are your thoughts on Kinnan in the “new meta” and nadu being sent the the grave?
What did you do at the tournament so I can avoid doing it when I finally sign up for my first? as a former college football player turned obsessed Magic player, I can relate to the intensity. It’s very hard for me to play Commander and not want to do everything I can to win (aside from cheating and lying of course)
He was a scumbag to other players by yelling and cursing. I was a college soccer player. Your going to be fine. Just don't curse AT people and don't yell. It's easy. Priority bullying and the like are fine. As long as you keep it in the game it is good.
time will tell...once you get the big head and the ego is when the attitude you displayed shows....the number drop off and the criticism you got humbled you, as some of the following comes back we will see where your head goes then

Saying your behavior was derived from a sports background that encouraged shit talking is such an absurd statement, I'm surprised you left it in the video. Regardless if that is true or not, I would expect an adult to be able to accurately gauge the emotions and setting of his surrounding and hopefully think to themselves, This is not an appropriate way to act. Unfortunate it takes significant community backlash for you to understand that.
