LUXURY OFF-GRID GLAMPING TIPI! (Full Airbnb Glamping Tipi Tour)

  • The Bellfire Tipi is located on Bellfire Farm in Roxbury, New York- about 4 hours outside of New York City. This is a luxury off-grid glamping experience in a traditional Native American tipi!
On the outside, the tipi sits next to a babbling brook and has a hammock, a fire pit, a grill, and several chairs on property. On the inside, the host did an incredible job on designing the interior ranging from hanging lanterns, to a gorgeous chiminea in the middle, to the traditional Indian drums and wool blankets.
This is by far one of the most unique accommodations I've ever stayed at. I highly suggest it for someone looking for an outdoor glamping experience with a hint of luxury.

What was your favorite feature in the tipi? For me, it has to be the chiminea!

Very cool setup. Looks very relaxing and secluded. Having camped before this looks a lot easier than lugging all your own gear and setting up a tent, wash station, etc. The way to go!

Hey man! I thumbed up the video because I think you did a great job making it, and it glad you had fun. I’m not so sure about the place though... the word “gypsy” is really offensive, and it feels like their appropriating the wagon and the Tipi. Just feels kinda off for a white couple, ya know. Look I’m all about the glampgrounds, I’m just not all about the appropriation. Only love, dude. Keep killin it

Thanks for the feedback man! This is one of the first videos I ever shot over 1 year ago so I'm trying to be more cognizant now. I appreciate your support :)

A lot of Gypsies are white? I feel like telling people what they can and cannot say is far more offensive than the supposed offense.
There were even “white” natives in the Americas? Look up the “moon eyed people” or the Welsh and Vikings they have found evidence of going back thousands of years? And the “Inuit” are Asiatic people who originally came from Asia but are called “natives” because they settled here before the most recent wave of settlers. Just seems like a weird form of racism to “prevent” racism?
There are “Natives” of America and all over the world with different accents and colors. Not one of them was there from the beginning of time, just more recently settled or more ancient settlers.
Light skinned people literally used tipis and the Asian Mongolians use tents and yurts, as do tribes from North America to Africa. Seems like a virtue signal to even get offended at “people learning”, and passive aggressive to pretend you are doing it for “love”.
The Israelites were in tents before the natives of America historically had canvas. The original tipi was Buffalo hide and they traded with the western settlers for the much lighter canvas material only recently. If anything canvas tipis are “cultural appropriation” BY the Natives, because the settlers brought the canvas of their “wall tents” and the “Natives” “Appropriated” the canvas material in the 1800s. Study more and you will find that people are claiming “cultural appropriation” when their own culture is literally borrowed from someone else.

@@MikeWillTravel You’re video was excellent. The tipis is very well designed. Do not let people who don’t understand history tell you what is or is not wrong with what you say or do. It says more about their insecurities than anything you did. Keep making excellent content and let the people of opinions make their own tipis and videos.
