Excellent ❤ this was so easy to follow and understand, I've been messing up and sanding slate like a full time job, this solved everything in just a couple of minutes, thank you so much!!
I am running a tile based on this video right now. I didn't even know about the Preset you used as I am still pretty new to LIghtburn. My biggest issue is not getting any variation in gray tones with what I have tried so far. So far it is looking pretty good. Thank you for this tutorial. I have a 10w WeCreat Vista. Update: The first one was not perfect but ok. But the second one!! It is awesome. Thank you so much.
That is really good to hear, it is pretty much the same approach with tiles indeed, makes me happy to know you created something awesome using this tutorial. I'll make more soon. Thanks for watching and commenting, means a lot !
It works too, pretty much anything will work with slate, paint, lacquer, shoe polish, wood stain, oils, this was what I had access to right there and then.
You know what, you're right, black glossy acrylic paint, I skipped it because I assumed people already painted it. But here the step Black glossy or black silky with less gloss or no gloss at all, 2 thin layers, let dry completely and then engrave. Thanks for the comment, I'll make a short video on that part too.
I agree, my voice i angelic but my brain is too adhd to make sense, but noted, I'll shock the world and try to read the captions and do a real voice over, thanks for commenting and your advice.

Why paint it black? I just spray a clear satin seal coat first.
