I can never imagine Snape as black but I wouldn't mind as long as they flesh out his character more in the series. Though, Papa is too attractive to play as a character like Snape
More diversity? Honestly? 100%. Hogwarts is a school from all walks of life around Britain, it had better be diverse. My only nitpick is "fans say the books weren't diverse enough." Like the vast amount of international origins and skin tones mean nothing.
As long a JK is at the helm - should be good. The Snape re-cast looks wrong, needs someone much older. How can a 24 year old be believable as being at the school at the same time as Harry's parents? And more diversity makes sense considering there are only supposed to be about 10 wizarding schools in the world.
Totally get what you’re saying! It’s wild how they’re mixing things up. Let’s just hope they nail it and give us a fresh take without messing with our nostalgia!

The characters need to fit the book description.
For real! It’s like, how hard can it be to stick to the characters we all grew up with? Let’s hope they get it right!
I don't care about a black Snape, I just want every single detail of his story there, his personality.

I want to see the actors like the characters in the books to do a true adaptation of it I'm sure they can find them
It’d be epic to see actors who fit the book characters perfectly. Fingers crossed they pull it off!
As long as we get bravery and loyalty from Ron more like from the books, and less like in the movies where Hermione gets Rons lines.
Totally with you on that! Ron needs to step up and show his true colors like in the books. Let’s hope the update does him justice!

For real! Hogwarts is a melting pot of magic, so it’s about time they show that off. Here’s to a more colorful wizarding world! 🎉
Great, another thing to wait for
Indeed!
I agree, sarcasm or not
You missed one original actor who has passed away. It’s Maggie Smith.
You're right, Maggie Smith's contribution to the series was truly iconic, and she will always be remembered fondly by fans.

The actor who’s supposedly playing snape is 34 which is exactly the right age for snape
Snape is supposed to be 31 at the start of the series. Esseidu is 34, not 24. So the perfect age to play Snape.
Nother reboot? Seriously?? Is there really nothing original?
Let’s hope this one surprises us!🙏
