Thoroughly informative and rational explanations. I appreciate all the details in lure selection, equipment, locations, and techniques. It’s very clear you know exactly what you are talking about from experience. Well done! Many thanks!
Great topic/location of US for fishing October- Thank you! I'm a bank angler and going to put your tactics to work, however I can wjike bank fishing. Thank you!
Fluoro is way overrated...if it's not changed out constantly, u WILL get random breaks no where specific...fluoro's no control stretch makes it get weaker from fish catches, snags, heavier lure weights....pro's get it free & change it ALL the time
@bassresource u see it all the time, on the pro level as well....u should never break off, on a hookset with a largemouth bass...And this happens more than pros will admit...I might add, im willing to bet u change out your line very frequently...keep your fluoro on for a month & let me know how it holds up
I keep my FC on for two years or more, never less than that. Never had those issues, and I fish mostly FC, always straight - not as a leader. I've never seen anyone have those issues. I also know many, many pros personally, and none of them mention any of the issues you mention, even when the cameras aren't rolling and we're just catching up over dinner or a beer. I don't know what's going on with your line, but something isn't right. That's not normal.
I have never heard of FC breaking like that, a good quality FC won’t have that issue, there must have been an issue with that run of FC causing it to break, I personally use braid to leader on everything I throw and adjust my leader length depending on what I’m doing sometimes short and sometimes super long but an FG knot and a leader is the ticket for me never had an issue one.
@@Glock-1u haven't seen pros, you tubers break off on hooksets with bass? I've seen it quite a few times...should never break off on a hookset with a bass....been fishing 40 years, and can't recall ever breaking off on a hookset with mono...pros promote it for their sponsors, because it's pricey....not worth promoting cheaper mono, which is far more versatile...To me, it's nothing but hype...just like braid + leader..tying a leader to braid, u just eliminated braid's #1 attribute..its strength, as any extra knot regardless how well u tie it provides a weak area...2 knots isn't as strong as 1...simple science

Thanks for the support, @jimkingsland1645, and thanks for watching!
Awesome (as always!)
Certainly getting cool here in NH. So happy to still be fishing!
Thanks for watching! Glad you're still out there fishing.
My favorite lures are a flipping tube and an Untamed Tackle Ace jig! Those jigs are far and away the best I’ve ever used in over 40 years of fishing
Great video and info as always. Still summer here in Missouri Hot and dry
Thanks for watching! Maybe we'll get a cool snap soon.
Loop knot those tubes!
Thank you for your information, it is useful.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.

Great tips as always
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video! How do you feel about small snaps on lipless crankbaits? Can I get away with it?
Yes, absolutely
@@bassresource thanks!
Thank you sir
Thanks for watching!
Braid freezes to your guides and spool. Hate changing back to mono.
Mono absorbs water too. Use fluorocarbon instead.
Co poly.

You must be using cheap fluoro because it will do that for sure. Quality FC doesn't do that.
