I think it’s extremely rare the water is that low and clear. I definitely got out there on the right day! We went back a few days later and hammered some fish but visibility was way down.
@@ndyakanglermy bass fishing reservoir is rarely clear. But I was sight fishing a bass from the bank and just like in this video, a second one came up and after a couple seconds hammered it.

I haven’t really used scent much, other than giving my bag of wacky worms a squirt. Coincidentally we went back a few days later and threw giant wacky worms there and they worked surprisingly well! I didn’t add scent to the big worms but I’m pretty sure they had some in the pack.
Sight fishing those big Musky would give me a heart attack!

Man I love your videos. I lose a little pike and am obsessing over what I did wrong for days. You lose the musky of a lifetime, take a moment, and go catch a few more. Zen and the art of musky fishing with the Bob Ross of fishing great stuff man.
Great videos. You treat every catch no matter how big or small with respect. The shakes you get make your videos that much more immersive. You get excited by the catch, nice change of pace from the channels that just catch to create videos. Much more relatable to the average fishermen. Keep it up

I love it how when you miss a big fish you just give a chuckle, well now you know where they're living anyway... And you can come back and try another day (you will make another show here, right?) Did you see......? Keep a look at the right site of your Kayak at 7min.17. Don´t follow the cast (while you commenting ...crap oh he took a swipe at that jiggy, that is) but keep on looking in the water, you see the pike passing at lightning speed. Real nice.

I live on the Androscoggin River in Greene, Maine and it has pike and bass also. I was wondering what you recommend for a fishing kayak to do pretty much the same fishing environments you do. Maybe do a rig rundown on your setup if you haven't already? Love your content! Thanks!
I’m considering switching to a Hobie Quest as my main kayak in the near future. I love my WS Tarpon 120, hate that they got rid of the center hatch on the new version. I’ve been looking at all the other kayak brands for something similar and then saw the Quest at a local store the other day and thought it would be a great paddling kayak for rivers or lakes.
Do you prefer the sit on top as oppose to sit in style?
