Nice Collection of the two Raptor characters from the Amber Collection and nice introduction of you putting them in the microwave which seems amazing. I have the delta figure.knee segment had a tendency of popping off,but after a little extra force,it popped in permanently.beautiful paint job and amazing articulation!easily the coolest looking one in my opinion,when comparing it to pictures of the other ones.i would definitely recommend it.8.5/10 figure.its currently sitting on the desk beside my bed,right beside me.

To explain the lost world raptor's different colored stand compared to the original, it's because people pointed that the amber colored stands looked like pee, and so Mattel changed the color of the stands so that it not as comparable.

fun fact: I used to own two raptors and a Pteranodon. I used to own the 1993 raptor and Echo. they were pretty fun to do with stop motion and stuff but there was one problem, Echo's jaw was pretty stiff and her big toe was very stiff, I did not even realize that it was stuff until her Jaw just snapped. But the 1993 raptor lasted way longer than Echo, but big problem, My brother broke it's tail so I had to gorilla glue it back. And it still holds up as how I got it out the box, But the Pteranodon was very fun to play with, But it just went missing, all the amber figures that I owned just went missing.

By the way i love how the wrists move it's amazing I need wrists to move so i can make cool setups and poses and put them on my shelf or on top of my pretty much anywhere. just except it not in my toilet okay. Actually the Raptor Squad came first before the Jurassic Park Raptor in the Lost World Raptor so basically the Raptor in Jurassic Park and the tiger raptor is basically a repainting of the Raptor Squad
I got the amber collection raptor squad and they were all neat and nicely painted but here are my complaints. I was very disappointed with the Echo figure for two reasons, in the movie Echo is light brown with teal stripes but on the figure she is brown with darker brown stripes, she also has a very stuck jaw I can only lift the upper jaw a little bit. I have other complaints about the Raptor Blue and Raptor Delta. When I got Delta out of the box the end of her tail was almost torn off overall it is a good figure but I eventually taped the tail up because I was worried. My complaint about Blue is it is a very nicely done paint job and highly detailed figure but her left sickle claw is stuck. In the movie Blue is a dark gray on top and fades to a lighter gray as it goes down but the paint job doesn't put much work into that at all. Overall of that I love the raptor squad. The raptor Charlie has to be my favorite. There is nothing wrong with it. Everything is fantastic. No complaints about her. Sorry for the late comment.

I've been thinking about getting the Amber Collection Velociraptors myself. I probably might get four with the brown skin colors and four with the tiger-like skin colors to make a pack of eight Velociraptors and make a display with some of the Star Wars Black Series action figures of a Velociraptor pack attacking the Clone Troopers and the Stormtroopers.
The first one could be good for forest or taiga camouflage? Since it’s scaletone matches that of wood and dark colored hills and soil. Same thing for the Tiger Striped Raptor
Actually the hasbro 2013 Dino Showdown Allosaurus was at one point (before Mattel of course) the most articulated Jurassic figure ever created! Unfortunately I didn't know about it or the Pachyrhinosaurus (which included an articulated jaw, surprisingly enough) so I never got them.
No, I'm pretty sure it had a transparent base because of fans complaining that the yellow Amber color the bases originally had made it look like the dinosaurs peed. Which I agree with. I never liked the bases for that reason. It appears that all future dinosaur releases are getting clear transparent bases, while the bases are being excluded entirely for the human figures. Which is fine. They don't even need them to stand up or anything.
