Warning issued about 'train-surfing' on region's railway lines

Greater Anglia are warning about what's called train-surfing - when people to cling onto the outside of trains to get between stations. There have been around 20 incidents of it on our region's tracks over the last year. Kristina Brinkley reports.

Not only Greater Anglia has this problem. I saw people doing the same thing on the DLR and filming themselves too. On TikTok, someone said that some people are even train surfing on DLR just to avoid ticket inspectors after they didn't pay for train (DLR has no gates, so people think it's free, when it's obviously not).

As a former train surfer it was enjoyable about 10 years ago before getting caught in 2009. Now with electrified cables overhead and faster trains if you fall you will be f*cked. Stay safe guys 👍
