    A true hero!
As a boy I watched Comer's firemen race to the fire station from my Granny's house in The Meadows, Cromer when the siren went off.
I would also race to the pier when the maroon went off to see the lifeboatmen take their lives in their hands to help others.
My mother saw the lifeboat go underwater when being launched on one occasion, but every time the lifeboatmen and firemen went into action, it was an act of bravery.
The world is a better place because of Will Cox and people like him.

So many sung 'heroes' get an award, and candidly in many cases one has to ask why? What puts me off the award system is people like him. I know too many people who have given so much in their lives, yet remain unrecognised. May God bless him. Indeed the true blessing of God is the highest of rewards.
