- It has been stated that Marc Marquez's late pass of Francesco Bagnaia during the French MotoGP was a "mental game" victory.
At Le Mans, the Gresini rider took the lead in the final lap after he brilliantly overtook the factory Ducati rider.
The psychological advantage Marquez gained from Bagnaia in France, however, after Bagnaia prevailed in their wheel-to-wheel battle in Jerez, provides a broader perspective.
Marquez has been outstanding ever since signing with the Italian company, and considering the difficulties he encountered during practice on Friday, Gigi's high praise is not surprising after what was perhaps his greatest weekend to date.

For me, marc staying in gresini even riding a year old ducati and maintaining his whole sponsorship, for me its the best move, azin, he just wanted to enjoy and be top 5 as he said, and he is currently enjoying and he is top 3. He can even do better and be number 1 as he is improving every time. Also he could be given latest spec and also his salary be reinstated. No need to go to red

Marquez passed Bagnaia into second place, behind Martin.
Other riders want a jersey but Marq wants a championship. An 8 time world champion knows what is more important, he is striking at being the G.O.T.E of moto gp. At the end the sponsor will be forced to make a deal among each other so that they can make marq wear their colour which will make him richer.

Bastianini is too much of a mama's boy to hold his factory seat. He does not fight for the lead when given an opportunity. His best year was two years ago. Ena's wins seem to come mostly by Viola, a attrition .
