Never was the biggest fan of the LF-A's overall design, but over the years it grew on me just a little. Enough to appreciate a well-done model like this. And it's got my favorite color- pearl white!
@seismic6435 Yeah licensing is a big thing for me. I actually just made a video about licensing a few videos back, and the models of discussion were the CM Model Jeskos
LFA is a must to have, and icon with an amazing screaming engine. I also appreciate the details in the box, for example the pic from the iconic triple exhaust and rear difuser, and the radiography of the car. The brand Stance Hunters also made in resin (not licensed) and it´s also very well done. CM details are great. White is the right color. Noi idea if It will be released in baby blue, which also is a nice color.
@@SiegedByCars They should be releasing it in baby blue, which I'm excited about because I think that was a China exclusive factory color for the real life car, which is a nice touch in my opinion!
@@Booster_Diecast probably the baby blue will be release in near future. For example Nisssan GT-R 3x are available in a variety of colors. So I think that these beleoved models by the community will be release in more colors
Nice one from CM but I feel like Focal Horizon got better proportions, rolling wheels and openable hood. It's also licensed. CM feels like someone put aftermarket bigger wheels, still cool tho
@qwerty975 I actually did not know that the Focal Horizon one was licensed. I assumed it wasn't because I've never really heard of that brand lol. But that one does look nice. Everyone's been talking about it lol
You should get more LMP cars from the 60s to 90s like the Ford GT40, Ferrari 330 P3, Mazda 787 please You know those are the best (Also some older F1 cars would be nice every once in a while
in the past,to find 64 scales of LFA its absolutely almost impossible considered that only one brand that makes highly accurate 64 scale of lfa and that is Kyosho (inc the premium ver, carnel 64) the another one well not accurate 64 and much more different segment was tomica. But many years later, giving me hope when DCT (diecast team) teased and released the casting with much much more cheaper price than carnel/kyosho,which also the proportions are better actually, even with the pricing point that cheap the detailed was not much compared with carnel64/kyosho,then lfa its became popular casting following by Cm and FH x Model 1 (with + value openable hood) to make one nowadays (which suprisingly they all of it licensed so far) its worth it to owned it, waiting to compared with FH X Model 1 actually
@@jeremysantoso997 I probably won't be getting the Focal Horizon version, but I know there are others who have or will compare it to the CM Model. I don't know much about FH or Model 1, so I'm skeptical about buying stuff from them even if their LFA is licensed
The worst part is that there is no tyre thread while other brands like DCT & FH have that. I would choose 1/43 minichamps or 1/24 tamiya kit (which is insane) but I could try these 1/64 scale models.
@@IIIJackson_StormIII Yeah the wheels on this one are a little weird after a second look. They appear too large which I'm sure is why they didn't put any tread on the tires
Too bad I bought it before I knew if it was rolling. It's probably an older design that they are just releasing, before they went with the rolling and swappable wheels. I'll get rid of it. If I compare model cars to watches: collecting unlicensed models is like collecting fake Rolexes. Collecting static models is like collecting broken watches. I don't collect either. If I have no other choice and I really want a car that no one else is making, I would rather have it unlicensed than not rolling. It feels broken.
@cornelstrutu1866 And to me, I don't care if it rolls or not. It makes little difference to me. I don't ever roll a model around on my desk. I would rather the model look as accurate as possible. You have to remember, these are scale models. Not toys
@@cornelstrutu1866 do your research 🙄, LFA from Focal Horizon is licensed and has the Toyota sticker, but yeah "garbage". Even being unlicensed they did R33 better than Inno64.
@@Booster_Diecast I get what you are saying. I don't play with them either, but without rolling wheels it feels "broken". I do like taking them out of the package and lining them up when I add a new piece. For example: I get a new Lambo, I take out all the other Lambos and line them up. If the wheels don't move smoothly, it bothers me. Not too different than knowing it's unlicensed. Unlikely that you'll look up the licensing on the package ever again, but you know it's not licensed, and that's bothering you.
