My faults are only based on what automotive journalists said and a bit of racing simulations (Not real world I know but close enough). Those are the cleanest drifts I have ever seen. Long, controlled, with entry and exit that are absolutely flawless. And that really is saying something about the 570S. Hell we know @harrismonkey has the skills but on this one there is something truly special.
This video proves once again that Chris is the greatest motoring journo/presenter alive. His commentary and thoughts on the car on the circuit blew me away, the way he describes how the car responds and drives are just incredible. Keep up the great work Mr. Harris!

@Real M While I agree with your view on Ferrari, I have to disagree with your view on Porche. I feel like there's a top 3 (Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren). Porche isnt even on the same level largely because I can buy a $150k Porche and the average person wouldn't be able to decern the difference between mine and my Dentists 30k Porsche. Its because of this that I believe most people figure Porches to be a bit every day average and a bit boring. Put a 911 Turbo S next to a 570s with its doors up and the Porsche will suddenly become invisible to the average person.
@Real M Not in my opinion. I just bought a new 570S. I have driven every modern Ferrari, Huracans, Aventadors, etc. When I was shopping, walking into the Ferrari dealership left me underwhelmed compared to the Lambo and McLaren dealerships. And from a driver involvement perspective I prefer McLaren as well. McLaren caught the others sleeping with their carbon fiber monocoque MonoCell II and hydraulic power steering. The 570S feels more bespoke and special to me for far less money than a 488. To me, Ferrari seems to have stagnated lately and driving a modern Ferrari does not evoke the passion in me that driving a 355 or even a 458 Speciale used to. This is all anecdotal, as is the fact that the LaFerrari would be my last choice vs. the 918 or P1 and most others I have discussed this with agree. I'm just saying I don't think it is universally accepted that Ferrari is any longer the most loved or aspirational brand.
Chris and Neil, these videos are amazing. The production quality is so incredible for a free internet video. Do whatever you need to to make sure that we keep getting this amazing content.

Honestly, I'm mega critical of a lot of things automotive. I have to say, Chris is just the absolute best at what he does here. His enthusiasm and excitement is so genuine, so believable...he makes you really feel like shit that you aren't driving the car. His ability to talk about the chassis, how it communicates with the driver, etc...he does all these things truly better than anyone I've ever seen. Badass man...truly superb. If I see you at SEMA I'm gonna be pumped...lol.

But its great to see you talking about how much it wants to oversteer and in a fun way. Will be interested to see what the used market for these is like over the next year or two...

This is fucking beautiful. 12C was always too understated. P1 is, of course, gorgeous. But I thought the 650 and 675 were both steps backwards and even uglier looking cars. This is just perfect. It looks like a baby P1.

And by the way he loved the 650S AND the 570S it really wouldn't surprise me if he chose to get one for himself. Would really love to know if he got "the itch" while testing it
I know. And he regrets selling the 4.0 RS every day. Not as much as selling his older GT2 though, since its worth a mil by now. Will be fun to see, the second hand value of most Mclarens are shit after 2~ years - And the Porsches are more expensive second hand than new, since the demand for them is crazy. That is a solid reason why to get one, but also a reason why they are extremely hard to get - If you dont want to pay 50k+ over what they costed new. But Chris probably knows enough people to get one anyways. It will be fun to see what he gets :)

Honestly, with 570S I wouldn't look at any other porsche, most people will but a piece of the cake will go to McLaren and if the costumers are satisfied, and according to Chris there is pretty much no reason for them not being for now, they should hold their value pretty well. On all I really like the proportions, looking smaller while being bigger to me is a win win for a sport car such as this.
Id take this over an 488. I saw one in person and it looks very similar to the 458 You mistake it for one at first glance. I think this mclaren is what the 650s shud have looked like. It looks aesthetic and finally the back end looks like a supercar

In the video with Tiff to me he favors GT3. Nothing to do with power and price. The Porsche had more to offer overall. Why I use that comparison is because Chris did the same thing in RS, AM and 650S video. He chooses 650s because more is being offered.

Saw one of these in person here in Guildford. One of the Mclaren testdrivers is a member at my gym. Absolutely stunning car. It caught me totally off guard and took me a min to take it all. Amazing car. and thats just from the looks I can only imagine how awesome it is to drive.

Honestly, with 570S I wouldn't look at any other porsche, most people will but a piece of the cake will go to McLaren and if the costumers are satisfied, and according to Chris there is pretty much no reason for them not being for now, they should hold their value pretty well. Hopefully. Competition is a good thing and the Woking boys managed to get some really good horses in the race

+Keegan Elliott I enjoy it far more than the 650 and 675, to me the McLaren logo feels tacked on, to me the MP4-12C, before the "corporate" headlights still has the best McLaren front fascia. On all I really like the proportions, looking smaller while being bigger to me is a win win for a sport car such as this.
Id take this over an 488. I saw one in person and it looks very similar to the 458 You mistake it for one at first glance. I think this mclaren is what the 650s shud have looked like. It looks aesthetic and finally the back end looks like a supercar

In the video with Tiff to me he favors GT3. Nothing to do with power and price. The Porsche had more to offer overall. Why I use that comparison is because Chris did the same thing in RS, AM and 650S video. He chooses 650s because more is being offered.

Saw one of these in person here in Guildford. One of the Mclaren testdrivers is a member at my gym. Absolutely stunning car. It caught me totally off guard and took me a min to take it all. Amazing car. and thats just from the looks I can only imagine how awesome it is to drive.

I personally think this is one of the best looking road cars ever designed. Really good looking. Great to see McLaren have removed the clinical laboratory feel to the car. And it looks so so well balanced because of it.
