You can do lap times in the 458 but you can also but absolutly mad at make it sideways. ***** Of course, I would love to drive these cars (hopefully one day...) to have proper opinions and feelings. My faults are only based on what automotive journalists said and a bit of racing simulations (Not real world I know but close enough). I might change my mind and understand why ***** love every Mclarens he droves and get to the point why these 12C - 650S - 675LT are "fun". For now, I just can't see where they are enjoyable. I'm not a Mclaren hater, I absolutly love the P1 and even more the legendary F1; but compare Mclaren to Ferrari, I'll take Ferrari cause it just have more character and soul. Honestly, I'm mega critical of a lot of things automotive. I have to say, Chris is just the absolute best at what he does here. His enthusiasm and excitement is so genuine, so believable...he makes you really feel like shit that you aren't driving the car. His ability to talk about the chassis, how it communicates with the driver, etc...he does all these things truly better than anyone I've ever seen. Badass man...truly superb. If I see you at SEMA I'm gonna be pumped...lol.

Saw one of these in person here in Guildford. One of the Mclaren testdrivers is a member at my gym. Absolutely stunning car. It caught me totally off guard and took me a min to take it all. Amazing car. and thats just from the looks I can only imagine how awesome it is to drive.

Straight talking honest and educated review from a guy that commands respect. If Chris likes it then that's good enough for me. I've had Aston Martin Vantage, R8 V10+, Huracan and just taken delivery of a 2020 570S with serious upgrades including elite volcanic orange paint, interior and exterior carbon fibre packs (roof and rear deck included), super lightweight wheel upgrade, sports exhaust upgrade plus much more. Apart from the V10 naturally aspirated engine noise where R8 and Huracan excel, the 570S is the best drivers car with its balance, gearbox, handling and laser point steering. Looking forward to getting out in the new ride. Thanks Chris, total respect for you. 👍🏻👍🏻

And by the way he loved the 650S AND the 570S it really wouldn't surprise me if he chose to get one for himself. Would really love to know if he got "the itch" while testing it
I know. And he regrets selling the 4.0 RS every day. Not as much as selling his older GT2 though, since its worth a mil by now. Will be fun to see, the second hand value of most Mclarens are shit after 2~ years - And the Porsches are more expensive second hand than new, since the demand for them is crazy. That is a solid reason why to get one, but also a reason why they are extremely hard to get - If you dont want to pay 50k+ over what they costed new. But Chris probably knows enough people to get one anyways. It will be fun to see what he gets :)

Honestly, with 570S I wouldn't look at any other porsche, most people will but a piece of the cake will go to McLaren and if the costumers are satisfied, and according to Chris there is pretty much no reason for them not being for now, they should hold their value pretty well. Hopefully. Competition is a good thing and the Woking boys managed to get some really good horses in the race

This is fucking beautiful. 12C was always too understated. P1 is, of course, gorgeous. But I thought the 650 and 675 were both steps backwards and even uglier looking cars. This is just perfect. It looks like a baby P1.

In the video with Tiff to me he favors GT3. Nothing to do with power and price. The Porsche had more to offer overall. Why I use that comparison is because Chris did the same thing in RS, AM and 650S video. He chooses 650s because more is being offered.

On all I really like the proportions, looking smaller while being bigger to me is a win win for a sport car such as this.
Id take this over an 488. I saw one in person and it looks very similar to the 458 You mistake it for one at first glance. I think this mclaren is what the 650s shud have looked like. It looks aesthetic and finally the back end looks like a supercar

I personally think this is one of the best looking road cars ever designed. Really good looking. Great to see McLaren have removed the clinical laboratory feel to the car. And it looks so so well balanced because of it.

Honestly Chris this is as good as motoring journalism gets . I love the way you split the objective stuff up from subjective , nobody does this as well as you do.
Also it really gives me a pain in my balls listening to other journalists go on about cars performance / handling etc when most of them cant even drive a VW Golf to its limits

In the video with Tiff to me he favors GT3. Nothing to do with power and price. The Porsche had more to offer overall. Why I use that comparison is because Chris did the same thing in RS, AM and 650S video. He chooses 650s because more is being offered.

+Keegan Elliott I enjoy it far more than the 650 and 675, to me the McLaren logo feels tacked on, to me the MP4-12C, before the "corporate" headlights still has the best McLaren front fascia. On all I really like the proportions, looking smaller while being bigger to me is a win win for a sport car such as this.
Id take this over an 488. I saw one in person and it looks very similar to the 458 You mistake it for one at first glance. I think this mclaren is what the 650s shud have looked like. It looks aesthetic and finally the back end looks like a supercar
