Life...Dreams...Hope...Where do they come from? And where do they go? None of that junk is enough to fulfill your hearts! Destruction...Destruction is what makes life worth living! Destroy! Destroy! Destroy! Let's destroy everything!
+Kefka Palazzo Oh Lord Kefka, you are right about anything and everything! Just please don't smite me with your almighty Light of Judgement, although you're probably going to do that anyway.
Life...Hopes...Dreams...two number nines...a number nine large... a number six... with extra dip...two number forty-fives...one with cheese...and a large soda...
Greatest villain of all time. He didn't try to rule the world, or strike back at people who wronged him. No, Kefka saw the pointlessness of existence, and did it for the lulz.
Kefka? I'd say he displays some serious narcissistic and psychotic tendencies from the get go. Exdeath I'm not familiar with so if it's that character you mean, you'll have to explain. :3
Psychotic I'll agree, but narcissism goes to emperor gestahl for obvious reasons. The laughs kefka did everything for was based on his deprave joys from other's misery since each laugh was associated with either a deed or wicked idea he had concocted. He was a bit more nihilistic than simply vain. Exdeath didn't see a pointless existence so much as he wanted power as a typical existential piece to his own meaning.
Welcome, friends! I knew you'd make it here, so I've prepared some suitable entertainment for you! How long are you going to let the destruction continue? Kefka: I've tapped into the ultimate power. Observe...! Kefka: Such magnificent power! You are like insects to me! Kefka: I will exterminate everyone, and everything! People will keep rebuilding the things you take from them! Kefka: Then I'll destroy those too. Kefka: Why do people rebuild things they know are going to be destroyed? Kefka: Why do people cling to life when they know they can't live forever? Kefka: Think how meaningless each of your lives is! It's not the net result of one's life that's important! It's the day-to-day concerns, the personal victories, and the celebration of life... and love! It's enough if people are able to experience the joy that each day can bring! Kefka: And have you found your "joy" in this nearly dead world of ours? Yes! Terra: I know what love is...! Locke: And I have learned to celebrate life... and the living. Cyan: My family lives on inside of me. Shadow: I know what friendship is... and family... Edgar: It is my dream to build a kingdom in which I can guarantee freedom and dignity. Sabin: I have come to experience anew the love of my brother... Celes: I've met someone who can accept me for what I am. Strago: I have a special little Granddaughter! Relm: And I have a brave Grandpa who'll stand by me through it all. Setzer: My friend's airship... and her love! Mog: I have my friends here! Gau: You my friends! Me uwaooo all of you! Kefka: This is sickening... You sound like chapters from a self-help booklet! Kefka: Prepare yourselves! Kefka: Now, for my next trick, I will make you all... disappear! Kefka, you don't know what you're doing! Stop! Kefka: I command the greatest power in the universe! Kefka: You are all helpless before me! Kefka: I will destroy everything... I will create a monument to non-existence!
.... .... Just listened to the final version.... .... Gametal has been dethroned from best Dancing Mad.... .... You sir, have topped even the original for me. This Dancing Mad is crowned number 1 for me.
These are exceptionally good. People claim to do metal remixes of songs and all they usually are is a fuzzed guitar melody and senseless noise in the background as the supposed harmony.
yeah, i know. this was meant to be a remix that turned the four unique parts (and in some ways very much individual tracks) into one whole. it's an OC Remix thing I've been doing on my videogame projects lately. besides, theres not much point in doing a straight cover of the original when theres no way in hell I can ever top Nobuo Uematsu's version, is there? c:
Best remix I've seen of this song, bar none. And this isn't even the final one? And I took a quick peek at some of your other videos...you have earned a sub :)
That whole interlude starting at 4:14 and just exploding at 4:34 (and mirrored by the similar motif at 4:55) is no less than perfection, it's so fucking epic!!
ok remixs piss me off but this is fucking great!! worthy of kefka greatest villain of all time!!! and the art work is off the charts!!!! two thumbs up great job!!!!!! who ever did this aced it well!!!!! all hail kefka!!!!
The Third Act if wonderfull, I can perfectly see Kefka flying over a city crying in pain and in the fire which make that clown laughing among the screams of the innocents.
The artwork used is phenomenal... the sound they were going for was damn near perfect. However, I have to take away points during Tier 1-3 for not using the various midi voices. They just add so much... And so many remixes don't ever include them where I feel they are so crucial to get the piece right. It's like the Dude's Rug, they really tie the room together. Also in a lot of these remixes they never include the iconic Kefka laugh during the final product. However that laugh is almost iconic as the piece. And it has to hit at the right parts... Don't think I've ever found a version as good as the original.
Don't forget to give the final version a listen too. You can find it as the OC remix upload here on youtube or follow the link in the description to the newgrounds page. c:
There are some parts in this remix that feel better than in the final version ( The final version feels a little too dynamic for me overall ) Now, that's just a preference of mine, however it's undeniable that your remix has no comparison. I've heard many remixes but yours is far more unique and new compared to others to make you think it's something completely different (some people either stick too much with the origial or get carried away too much, also judging by the quality it feels like you dedicated to it much more time than that in your description! Like.. 400% effort!?) Also, your channel is really MINDBLOWING, you really deserve much more views and subs.
I'll be keeping both versions up on Newgrounds for download and the other one will come up on TH-cam as well eventually. So don't fret, like and share whichever one you prefer. :3
Oh YES, please...I head-banged hard to this (well at least until the piano LOL, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-^ha :D I loved what you did on the turn-around, super. It never fails I get goose-flesh when it gets to the 6 min. mark every time.
Yes, once volume 2 is released, volume 3 will be organized and me and many others will start cooking up our next batch of boss remixes. The reason there's been a delay for volume 2 release is due to the huge Final Fantasy IV project "Balance and Ruin" WHICH YOU SHOULD ALL GO GET BECAUSE ITS AMAZING AND FREE! c:
i used a specific segment of the third part to compose that one. the problem arose from the third being a generally first off very lighthearted melodically and also lending itself to a powermetal vibe rather than a deathmetal mood which it does get into about midway through (the major to minor key switch which is where I sort of pick it up with the piano). certainly i could flesh it out and add some of the lead for it, but that will have to wait for Bad-Ass Boss Themes Volume 3. c:
Dear God... the original was freaking brilliant but... I've never heard something just about literally screamed "YOU'RE FIGHTING A CRAZY GOD NOW, SUCKERS!" before... and it is... GLORIOUS.
Life...Dreams...Hope...Where do they come from? And where do they go? None of that junk is enough to fulfill your hearts! Destruction...Destruction is what makes life worth living! Destroy! Destroy! Destroy! Let's destroy everything!
Destruction is the purest form of power.
Kefka Palazzo We're doomed to grief for an eternity. You refuse to accept that what power grief gives is infinite.

Greatest villain of all time. He didn't try to rule the world, or strike back at people who wronged him. No, Kefka saw the pointlessness of existence, and did it for the lulz.
Few villains actually succeed in destroying the world so yeah, I'd say he's a pretty wacky guy. Always up to his omnicidal hijinks.
Actually he did rule over the world and he didn't do it for the pure laughs over time. He did it because he struggled with his mortality.
Kefka? I'd say he displays some serious narcissistic and psychotic tendencies from the get go. Exdeath I'm not familiar with so if it's that character you mean, you'll have to explain. :3

Yeah, Kefka is the epitome of videogame nihilism. And a sinister psychotic. That Doma kingdom scene still haunts me. So evil... :c

double'effin''yeah
I think Kefka's laugh is the soul of dancing mad. I'm always looking for one that he laughs when he shows up
ME TOO OMG
I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE
Extremely rockin' - this is a service to both FF6 and the FF fandom in general.
4:30 Why does this fit so well for Monster King Orochi.
:3
:3
DarkZesperia?
that beat starting from 4:17 is out of this world, masterly composed, the combination of the epic piano and violin....
No matter how many versions of it I hear, I will always dig metal versions of this track...
Very nice.
I know you posted this 4 years ago but here's an update for you. You should check out "Falkkone Dancing Mad" and some of his other works, too.
Was going through my favorites, and can't believe I've been listening to this for almost seven years!
-RLW/Z
I can. : )
Bad guys always get the best themes.
This Account Has No Name u got that right
lol
I keep coming back to your version of this piece and Lavos’ theme over and over. Absolutely nailed it better than anyone else. Amazing work man!
....
....
Just listened to the final version....
....
Gametal has been dethroned from best Dancing Mad....
....
You sir, have topped even the original for me. This Dancing Mad is crowned number 1 for me.
Godddamn, dude. Where has this remix been all my life? Up there with Prancing Dad.
Getting rid of the third phase of the Goddess' theme and moving right to Kefka was freakin' brilliant.
Easily the most impressive remix of "Dancing Mad" I've ever heard. Excellent job.
Solid arrangement; that bass lead-in to the Kefka phase was extremely gratifying, and the original artwork to accompany it is some really ace work.
Thank you, DarkZesperia for introducing me to this music
Who is DarkZesperia? Thanks for love. c:
@@Lashmush your remix is AWESOME btw!
9:09 guitar sounds ill. Really captures the twisted vibe. Seriously scary man.
Impressive mix, definitely has its own personality, rather than a mere cover of alternate instrumentation.
Metal is not really my type of music but you did a real good job with this. It's very fitting.
I havent played any Final Fantasy but even i know about Kefka's epicness and this piece right here sums it all GOOD WORK!!
These are exceptionally good. People claim to do metal remixes of songs and all they usually are is a fuzzed guitar melody and senseless noise in the background as the supposed harmony.

Frightening and epic. You sir have made a song transcending above almost everything.
Best remix I've seen of this song, bar none. And this isn't even the final one? And I took a quick peek at some of your other videos...you have earned a sub :)

This is the final version. c:
+69guitarchick This is better than the final version in my opinion. Some parts are better in the final one but I think this one a bit simpler.
This is easily the best remix of dancing mad i have ever heard!!
That whole interlude starting at 4:14 and just exploding at 4:34 (and mirrored by the similar motif at 4:55) is no less than perfection, it's so fucking epic!!
Certainly one of the best remasters out there.
I don't usually post comments, but I must say I greatly enjoyed your video.
@ The Artist of this cover: Please keep practicing!
Kefka: The definition of nihilism.
And he's right.
Only on Wednesdays...
Also, Kefka: The Personification of Nihilism. :D
CEO of nihilism
Hands down the best version of dancing mad on the fucking market
I love the take on the 3rd movement. I started to bob my head at it.
2:50 with the piano arpeggio in the background onward to the end of the movement sounds AWESOME!! Great touch!
It was conceived on my birthday... Nice. Nobuo's prog-rock influences shine through in this even more than the original.
This needs more upvotes. Period.
Duuuuude, how did the Algorithm wait until now to show this to me?!? Badass.
This is really good. I especially love the grand organ part at the beginning--really rich and full-sounding with a lot of bass.
Wow this is simply incredible. I am a huge fan of Nobuo, and this is a worthy, and tremendously talented rendition. Great job
Yeah, I'm pleased with that one. Got a bit of middle-eastern flavor to it. c:
When I heard it for the first time, I was blown away. This is just that epic.
Been looking at remixes all night and this is definitely my favorite so far.
ok remixs piss me off but this is fucking great!! worthy of kefka greatest villain of all time!!! and the art work is off the charts!!!! two thumbs up great job!!!!!! who ever did this aced it well!!!!! all hail kefka!!!!
Why do they piss you off?
THIS IS SO GOOD.
i think i like this version better than the new version u made
Love this remix and the artwork. You did an incredible job! One of the best remixes of this song.
2:46 do I hear a Vader - The Book homage?
I've loved this song since the first time I laid ears on it and I'll never stop jamming out to it.
It does also sound as a remix that took a long time to make so nice job, thanks for sharing!
I came here because of the artwork, and I found yet another awesome Dancing Mad remix!
darn the second part is srsly good :D its awesome its...... kefkaliscious!
This isn't even the final form. c:
damn i made this comment 2 years ago? i still love this remix u made something awesome :D
Aah, kefkalicious
The Third Act if wonderfull, I can perfectly see Kefka flying over a city crying in pain and in the fire which make that clown laughing among the screams of the innocents.
It's Amazing!!!!! It's awesome!!! I love this version!!!! Black, Power, Epic and Progressive Metal!!! :D Congratulations!!!
Awesome... just awesome!
This remix is so epic!
Did an okay job on the first and second movement. But you did an awesome job on the third and fourth!
absolute banger
I'm also surprised, very good work on this very hard composition.
素晴らしい動画だと思います。アレンジが素敵でした。
To each their own. You can visit the artists DA pages from the description if you want to see more of their art. c:
5 men danced mad with Kefka. This is utterly EPIC beyond words! :D
Just one word: Bravo. Ok three more...thanks for this.

i just cant find the right words to describe this masterpiece
The most epic version. All sounds pretty blackened metal.
That picture is epic!!!!
i love this
This can't be said to be anything less than good ✌🏻.
I just shat myself. There were a couple notes off from the original but they worked really well, surprisingly O_O
I wish you added the male vocals for the tier 2 song but don't let that comment read off as something negative. This was fantastic.
i'll upload the new version instead. c:
HAH! What a way to show me up!
I don't think it could have been done anymore perfectly from 4:15 ~ 5:30
the best version of Dancing mad for surely :D
Take my Fxxking money! this video is amazing. Great illustration, great audio.
Listened to it with rainy mood in the background for the softer parts.... I regret nothing
Fuck dude this brings back hella memories
Amazing Artwork, Amazing Remix
I just love the details of the drawing, very much so the remix fits perfectly
Nice video :o)
Amazing remix for such an epic battle. Thank you for sharing your talents and for the nostalgia! Blessings, peace, and grace to you. ~ John 11:25-26
Thanks, buddy.
Nobuo Uematsu would be proud. Genuinely unique and powerful rendition.
Your version feels so empowering! Good job m8!
Don't forget to give the final version a listen too. You can find it as the OC remix upload here on youtube or follow the link in the description to the newgrounds page. c:
I don't know why, but this sounds like something that should be on Yu-Gi-Oh!
There are some parts in this remix that feel better than in the final version

+Lashmush When is it going to be uploaded(
Music that feels, "a little too dynamic for," your liking. Clearly you don't know how to use the word dynamic correctly.
I hope Nobuo will do the same for Bhunivelze final phase theme. I believed it will become more beautiful and pleasent to hear if he recomposed it.
Still blast 2019
2022 still BLASSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Oh YES, please...I head-banged hard to this (well at least until the piano LOL, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-^ha :D I loved what you did on the turn-around, super. It never fails I get goose-flesh when it gets to the 6 min. mark every time.

Awesome job you have here, dude.
Love the artwork
Nobuo Uematsu would be proud.
Kefka is the evil himself and te first villain That is so badass.
Great video ❤🎉
I was hoping the final movement would be a little more climactic =(. Aside from that though, this is an epic remix and I loved every minute of it
I demand this be played at my funeral.
I loved that fight, when Kefka transforms a huge pile of junk into a manifestation of his deformed soul.
i used a specific segment of the third part to compose that one. the problem arose from the third being a generally first off very lighthearted melodically and also lending itself to a powermetal vibe rather than a deathmetal mood which it does get into about midway through (the major to minor key switch which is where I sort of pick it up with the piano).
certainly i could flesh it out and add some of the lead for it, but that will have to wait for Bad-Ass Boss Themes Volume 3. c:
Lashmush always provides the best metal.
Hee, hee! Nothing can beat the music of hundreds of voices screaming in unison! Except this.
WHAT AN EVIL MASTERPIECE!
muahahahahaha
The ONLY thing that I could have wanted is Kefka's laugh. Other than that, I believe that the bad ass in this greatly makes up for it.
Sick cover
Monster King orochi theme
Dear God... the original was freaking brilliant but... I've never heard something just about literally screamed "YOU'RE FIGHTING A CRAZY GOD NOW, SUCKERS!" before... and it is... GLORIOUS.
Great job, guy
