I had this same Honda City with this same colour, this colour had a waiting list back then for 1 month, this colour was know as Carbon Grey, I had a 2007 Model Honda City ZX with 1.5 litre Engine and it was i-vtec ohh yeah..... sold it in 2017 though, NOStalgia hit me Hard, Kudos to Faisal Bhai as he still reviews old cars, Keep it up Faisal Sir 👍 😃 Best Memory of this car would be I learned how to drive a car on Honda City and I am still a JDM fan and will always be......

I love the First, Third and Fourth Generation of Honda City due to Sporty design, and dimensions were generous.
Moreover, the 1.5 L SOHC vtec mill makes an Enthusiast giggle while unleashing the enthusiasm on roads 🔥🔥🔥
But now the DOHC unit.

I have this. It's like a go kart or a bike on 4 wheels. Proper driver's car. That low dashboard adds to the speed. Two glove boxes. Just put an aftermarket unit to connect my phone and upgraded the headlamp bulbs to high power. Runs perfectly after 12 years and counting. The VTech really kicks in this one. Excellent drive comfort. Superb gearshift, just slick. AC is very good. Flat back seat so spacious. Just the brake pedal could be more progressive and have more weight and not have such a huge dead zone initially. And you need a pillow to support your thigh on the driver's seat. But what more do you need?

I still have this car. mine is Honda City ZX 10th Anniversary edition too. Absolutely love this machine... huge boot and amazing city drivability. Only drawbacks are low mileage and low ground clearance.

Our Family used to own the 2nd gen facelift but an automatic and I still remember it being one of the very few automatic cars sold at that time. This car truly was great and a workhorse. Thank you for the great video and nostalgia Faisal Bhai!

I don’t agree to most of your points.If your travelling between speeds of max 80 to 90km this vehicle drives well , overtakes well, even hillclimbs loaded with people luggage this vehicle is good . Engine gives fine mileage along with slick gearshift.despite its age this vehicle is still comfortable to drive.
Yes bro! Many people say many things but this was really a good one and has raw mechanism. U can feel literally everything. I recently bought one and handles well even at 140+

Stil have the car in the family n same issue with the key to start & unlock the the car. Its a V-Tech though

This is the car i learnt driving on. My driving school had also installed Lovato CNG on it. Their odo read over 3L. And I am sure they'll easily pull it for more.

You know how hard this pulls in 5th at 110 kmph when VTech kicks in? Scary. It's like a rocket or a turbocharger. All of a sudden you're hitting numbers you wouldn't believe you could hit.
I slapped 16 inch alloys on mine with a stiffer suspension setup and ngl it feels good
Cng or only petrol? Also whats the mileage and maintenance cost
@@elonramsay2406 Petrol cause only noobs and taxi drivers use CNG……..i get about 11-12 in the city and if i thrash it the numbers go down to about 10 or 9……overall the maintenance cost is about 5k every 10,000 kms…..tho that’s if it’s only the regular type oil change. Major services cost around 20k.
I like VTEC, Dolphin facelift, 3rd gen facelift and 4th gen facelift.

This car drives really very good and its so spacious from inside that most of the segment cars are just uncompareable in terms of space provided in this car
But I am talking about vtec version not about this diesel
Using honda city zx 2006 model as first owner with 1.9 lakh odo. Still happy with the car with super refinement, butter smooth gearshifts and clutch.
This version wasn't performance centric. It's more like leisure car for relaxed driving. Only limitation I feel is too short gear ratios. And honda was not feature rich and safety loaded cars in those days. But it's great car even now. I still love it every time I take it out.

Though i nvr liked its body design, i hv to admit it is one of the best cars in terms of the space , comfort , extremely easy handling of the steering wheel, buttery gear shift and good power . One heck of a practicle car .

Faisal Anna, do a video on Modified Honda City ZX (2006), I’m getting my father’s car as my first car and I’m planning to modify it. If you do a video on its modification, I’ll get an idea on how to modify my car.
Check the car thoroughly for worn bearings, wheel bearings, rust, rubber seals, oil leaks, engine coolant, shock absorbers, fuses, worn out rubber bushings, steering, wiper, all fluids, battery (Amaron), gearbox oil, AC coolant. Fix all of them. If they are good, don't fiddle with them! Underbody should get corrosion protection. All paint scratches and dents should be fixed.
Upgrade the halogens to 100/90 with a relay and install good fog lamps. You'll thank me on the highway. Never use 130 and for god's sake don't put LED in halogen housing. If reflectors and headlamps are rough, get them thoroughly sanded, polished and clear coated with UV protective clear coat and paint protection film so the don't get hazy again. Find someone who can do this job well. If you do this, the car will look like brand new! Same for rear lights.
If the tires are worn out, replace them with a set of Bridgestone 65 profile 175 tires including spare tire - best for road noise and shocks. Do not, never, go for low profile tires. Ride comfort will be destroyed.
Put an aftermarket audio system that can connect to your phone - this is the only major upgrade. Stock speakers usually are very good as is so it is just the set.
If you want, you can put a parking sensor. That I will recommend.
Don't do anything else. If it ain't broke don't fix it. As it is, my car is 12 years old and running flawlessly and I did all this over the years. Fantastic driver's car. Engine may go on for lakhs of km easily.
